    If you have confirmed the supported specifications and required specifications of NAVER WORKS, you are ready to start using NAVER WORKS. The first thing to do now is to request a subscription for NAVER WORKS. You can request a subscription to NAVER WORKS and manage your subscription on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    When the subscription request is complete, you must confirm that you can access NAVER WORKS Admin normally from your web browser.

    Request a subscription (request a free trial)

    The following describes how to request a subscription to NAVER WORKS on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    Caution

    When you request a subscription to NAVER WORKS, you are automatically subscribed to a trial version which you can use for 30 days free of charge. You can switch to a paid plan at any time during the 30-day trial period. For information on how to switch to a paid service plan, see Switch to a paid plan.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select Korea.
    3. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    4. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus in that order.
    5. Click the My Product menu.
    6. Click the [Request Product] button.
    7. When the subscription request page appears, proceed with the following steps in order.
    Note

    Click the [Request Subscription] button from Service> Business Applications > NAVER WORKS in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal to go directly to the screen in 6.

    1. Select Product

    Select the pricing plan to use in NAVER WORKS. NAVER WORKS provides essential business functions for free, and you can use additional extended functions according to the selected pricing plan. The following describes how to select a pricing plan for NAVER WORKS.

    1. When the product selection screen appears, check the functions provided by the pricing plan in Detailed Functions.
    2. Select a desired pricing plan in Select Product.
    3. Click the [Agree to Terms and Conditions] button.
    Caution

    Please carefully read the precautions for Select Product before selecting a pricing plan.

    2. Agree to Terms and Conditions

    The following describes how to check and agree to the Terms and Conditions for using NAVER WORKS.

    1. When the Agree to Terms and Conditions page appears, check the required information including the terms and conditions.
    2. Mark the checkbox if you agree after checking the content.
    3. Click the [Enter Information] button.

    3. Enter Information

    Members' accounts will be created for using NAVER WORKS, based on the group or domain name of the company, organization, group or department. The following describes how to enter account information and basic information for using NAVER WORKS .

    1. When the screen for entering information appears, enter the required information.
      • Account information: the account information of the group that will use NAVER WORKS
        • Group name/domain name: group or domain name to be used for the account information of the group members including administrators

          • Group name: when you select a group name, enter between 2 and 22 characters by combining lowercase English letters, numbers, and special characters (these cannot be used at the beginning or end of the group name). However, special characters cannot be used at the beginning or end of a group name. They also cannot be used two or more times in a row.
          • Domain name: when selecting a domain name, enter it according to the domain format.
          • [Check for Duplicates] button: click to check for duplicates after entering the group or domain name.
          Note

          If you want to know more about how to enter a group or domain name, click the [Group Name Guide] button or [Domain Name Guide] button.

        • Admin ID: enter an ID to be used as the admin account containing between 2 and 40 characters by combining lowercase English letters, numbers, and special characters (., -, _).

          Note

          The NAVER WORKS account ID is used in the form of 'ID@group name (domain name)', which is a combination of the entered ID and group name (domain name). For example, if you've entered "admin" as the admin ID, the actual admin account's ID will look like below.

          • If the group name is 'group': admin@group
          • If the domain name is 'domain.com': admin@domain.com
        • NAVER WORKS Admin password: enter a password for the admin account containing between 8 and 40 characters by combining upper and lowercase English letters and numbers. However, you cannot enter three consecutive characters or the same character three or more times in a row.

        • Confirm admin password: enter the password for the NAVER WORKS admin account one more time.

      • Basic information: default information of the group that will use NAVER WORKS.
        • Company name: enter the name of the group that will use NAVER WORKS.
        • Company phone number: enter the telephone number for the group that will use NAVER WORKS.
    2. Click the [Confirm Request Details] button.
    Note

    In NAVER WORKS Admin, you can change the group name or domain name you entered.

    4. Check request details

    The following describes how to check the subscription request information for NAVER WORKS.

    1. When the screen for confirming request details appears, check the request details.
    2. Click the [Finalize Request] button.
    Caution
    • If you've entered a domain name as account information, then your ownership of the domain must be confirmed before being able to use NAVER WORKS normally.
    • Read the precautions carefully before clicking the [Finalize Request] button.

    5. Complete Request

    The following describes how to set company information after completing the subscription request to NAVER WORKS.

    1. When the request completed screen appears, check the precautions and click the [Set Company Information] button.
    2. Enter the account ID and password on the NAVER WORKS login screen, and then click the [Get Started] button.
    3. Set the company information.

    Switch to a Paid Plan

    You can switch from the free trial version to a paid version and keep using the service. When you switch to a paid plan, you can use the service with more flexibility and expandability. You can also change renewal options or upgrade your contract conditions. Switching to a paid plan can be done at any time during the 30 days when the trial version is valid. In addition, as it provides a Switch to a Paid Plan Reservation function, you can set a reservation so that you can switch to a paid plan on a desired date.

    Caution

    If you do not switch to a paid plan within 30 days after the expiration of the trial period, the service will be automatically canceled.

    The following describes how to switch to a paid plan.

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Switch to Paid Product] button.
    6. When the Switch to a Paid Plan pop-up window appears, click on the terms and conditions of the desired service.
    7. Select a date for switching to a paid plan.
    Note

    If you select today as the date for switching to a paid plan, you will be switched to a paid plan immediately. If you select tomorrow or a later date to switch to a paid plan, the date for switching to a paid plan will be reserved.

    1. After selecting it, click the [Switch to a Paid Plan] button.

    Change renewal option

    You can set up the contract conditions to be renewed automatically after the contract period expires. However, you can change the renewal option after switching to a paid plan. The following describes how to change the renewal options.

    Caution

    Please be cautioned that a service fee will be charged monthly after the contract period expires if the renewal option is not set up separately.

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Change Renewal Option] button.
    6. When the Renewal Option pop-up window appears, click to select the contract terms and conditions you want, and click the [Save] button.
    7. Click the [OK] button.

    Upgrade

    You can upgrade your contract terms and conditions. However, you can only upgrade them after switching to a paid plan. The following describes how to upgrade your contract.

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Upgrade] button.
    6. When the product upgrade page appears, proceed with the following steps in order.

    Cancel subscription

    You can cancel the subscription to NAVER WORKS on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. You can cancel the subscription at any time, but please take note of the billing standard when canceling. The following describes how to cancel your subscription.

    Caution
    • If you cancel the service, you cannot use the service, and all data will be permanently deleted. It is recommended to cancel the service only after backing up all service data.
    • If you cancel the service while using an annual pricing plan, charges for the discounted amount and 10% of the amount for the remaining days will be incurred as the cancellation fee pursuant to the published Terms and Conditions of the service.
    • If you select the day after the end of the contract period as the cancellation date, there will be no penalty even if you are using the annual pricing plan.
    • Service fees will be charged separately in addition to the penalty.
    • When you reserve the cancellation of your subscription, payment will not be made after the cancellation date, and you can cancel the reservation at any time before the scheduled cancellation date.

    Cancel Immediately

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus, in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Cancel Subscription] button.
    6. Select today as the cancellation date.
      • In the case of an annual contract, if you select the day after the end of the contract period as the cancellation date, no penalty will be incurred.
    7. Cancel the selected service. After entering the text in the input field of the pop-up window, click the [Cancel] button.
      • The subscription to the selected product is canceled immediately, and all data is deleted.

    Reserve Cancellation

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus, in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Cancel Subscription] button.
    6. Select Cancellation Date.
      • In the case of an annual contract, if you select the day after the end of the contract period as the cancellation date, no penalty will be incurred.
    7. Cancel the selected service. After entering the text in the input field of the pop-up window, click the [Cancel] button.
      • The subscription to the selected product is canceled on the cancellation date, and all data is deleted.

    Check connection to NAVER WORKS Admin

    The following describes how to check for normal access on the web to use NAVER WORKS after requesting subscription to NAVER WORKS is completed on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console's Region menu, click and select Korea.
    2. From the Platform menu, click to select between VPC and Classic.
    3. Click the Services> Business Applications> NAVER WORKS menus in that order.
    4. Click the My Product menu.
    5. Click the [Go to NAVER WORKS Admin] button.
    6. Enter the account ID and password on the NAVER WORKS login screen, and then click the [Get Started] button.
