You might run into the following problems when using Ncloud Storage. Find out causes and possible solutions.

Unable to delete bucket

After clicking delete bucket, no objects appear on the console, but the bucket still remains.

Cause

If you use the version management features, previous versions of the object still remain, so you may not be able to delete the bucket.

Solution

When the show version button is on, you can view previous versions of the object. You can delete the bucket after deleting all previous versions of the object.

Remaining multipart-upload issue after bucket deletion

The bucket was deleted, but multipart upload still remains.

Cause

When you don't complete multipart upload, the remaining files exist in the bucket. Because the remaining files are included in the bucket capacity and charged, you must delete incomplete multipart objects.

Solution

To view and delete incomplete multipart objects by calling APIs, follow these steps:

  • View the information on canceled or uncompleted multipart upload (see ListMultipartUploads).
  • Stop and delete uncompleted upload among multipart uploads (see AbortMultipartUpload).
  • View and delete incomplete multipart upload in CLI (see CLI guides).
