Neurocloud overview

Neurocloud is a hybrid cloud service of NAVER Cloud Platform that combines security of the on-premise environment and convenience of the public cloud environment. By installing cloud-dedicated hardware and software inside the data center, the client can not only benefit from security for important data and core services but also use a service environment identical to NAVER Cloud Platform.

• Provides benefits of a private cloud: provides IaaS/PaaS services including server, storage, network, and database in an on-premise environment, with data security and complete ability to manage data, in accordance with the national information protection laws.
• Provides benefits of a public cloud: allows access to the services of NAVER Cloud Platform such as analytics, applications, management, security, and authentication, with resource expandability and the latest IT technologies.

Various features of Neurocloud

The following are descriptions of the various features of Neurocloud.

• Total management service: a NAVER Cloud Platform expert operates and manages the entire service from Neurocloud hardware to cloud, allowing you to save resources in building and operating the platform. Through the dedicated management network, the NAVER Cloud Platform expert manages the Neurocloud platform and maintains the platform S/W up to date.
• Connected to on-premise: through flexible connection between the legacy system of data center and the public cloud, you can configure various forms of hybrid environments. Neurocloud provides the on-premise gateway for communication between the on-premise and Neurocloud networks.
• Supports multi-tenants using VPC: Neurocloud supports multi-tenants so that you can form multiple VPC networks. On Neurocloud, you can create multiple VPCs according to purpose and logically divide the VPCs into networks for independent operations. By dividing VPCs by department, development, stage, or service, you can ensure not just security but also a more efficient operation.
• Optimizes large-scale workload: NAVER Cloud Platform accommodates a higher number of nodes than competitors' platforms, allowing you to use larger-scale workloads. You can optimize resources by using a public cloud for workloads with an unpredictable performance capacity. You can keep the core business in the on-premise environment and use the public cloud for additional computing resources.
• Provides control over data and infrastructure: since data are saved and processed in the client's facility, sensitive data are securely protected in accordance with the company's internal compliance standards and the national information protection policies. In addition, the Neurocloud infrastructure is installed in the client's site and can only be accessed from outside through the dedicated management network, giving you a complete control over data and infrastructure.
• Stable cloud computing: Neurocloud's infrastructure is built with standard racks, servers, and applications that have been proven for safety and operability. Also, it provides stable cloud computing through redundant and clustered hardware configurations.
• Various management tools: NAVER Cloud Platform provides various services, including cloud resource monitoring and account management tools, using the latest IT technologies. Neurocloud makes these tools available in an environment identical to the public cloud.
• Fast troubleshooting: while external cloud services may take up hours of your time for troubleshooting failures with the research and development teams located overseas, Neurocloud provides faster and more accurate troubleshooting measures since it is developed by NAVER Cloud Platform.
