Neurocloud is a hybrid cloud service of NAVER Cloud Platform that combines security of the on-premise environment and convenience of the public cloud environment. By installing cloud-dedicated hardware and software in a customer's data center, Neurocloud provides security for critical data and core services, as well as a service operating environment identical to that of NAVER Cloud Platform.

  • Offers the benefits of a private cloud: Delivers IaaS/PaaS services such as Server, Storage, Network, and Database in an on-premise environment, ensuring data security and full control over data, while complying with Korean information protection regulations.
  • Offers the benefits of a public cloud: Enables the use of NAVER Cloud Platform services such as Analytics, Application, Management, Security, and authentication, providing resource scalability and the application of the latest IT technologies.

Neurocloud features

Neurocloud offers these key features:

  • Fully managed service: NAVER Cloud Platform experts operate and manage the entire stack, from Neurocloud hardware to the cloud, allowing you to save resources on platform setup and operations. NAVER Cloud Platform experts manage the Neurocloud platform and keep its software up-to-date via a dedicated management network.
  • On-premise integration: You can configure various types of hybrid environments through flexible integration between the legacy systems in the customer's data center and the public cloud. Neurocloud provides the on-premise gateway for communication between the on-premise and Neurocloud networks.
  • Multi-tenants support with VPC: Neurocloud supports multi-tenancy, allowing you to configure multiple VPC networks. You can create multiple VPCs on Neurocloud for different purposes, and each VPC can operate independently thanks to logical network isolation. Configuring separate VPCs for each department or by environment (development, staging, production) ensures both enhanced security and operational efficiency.
  • Optimization for large-scale workloads: NAVER Cloud Platform supports a greater number of nodes compared to competing platforms, enabling the implementation of large-scale workloads. Applying a public cloud to workloads with unpredictable capacity requirements can lead to resource optimization. You can keep core business applications in the on-premise environment and provision additional computing resources from the public cloud as needed.
  • Control over data and infrastructure: Because data is stored and processed within the customer's own facilities, you can comply with your company's internal compliance requirements and Korean information protection regulations for sensitive data. Additionally, the Neurocloud infrastructure is installed at the customer's site and is only accessible externally via the dedicated management network, providing complete control over your data and infrastructure.
  • Stable cloud computing: The Neurocloud infrastructure is built with standard racks, servers, and applications that are proven for their stability and operability. It also provides stable cloud computing through hardware redundancy and clustering.
  • Various management tools: NAVER Cloud Platform offers a variety of services that leverage the latest IT technologies, including tools for cloud resource monitoring and account management. Neurocloud makes these tools available in an environment identical to the public cloud.
  • Rapid issue response: Resolving issues and failures with foreign-based cloud services can be time-consuming, as their R&D teams are located overseas. In contrast, because Neurocloud was developed directly by NAVER Cloud Platform, it allows for faster and more accurate issue response and resolution.
