Adding and managing RabbitMQ account describes how to add or delete an account for connecting to the RabbitMQ server or the Management UI and how to edit the account information.
Adding account
You can add an account used to access the RabbitMQ server or the Management UI.
To add an account, do the following:
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Application Services > Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ.
- Click a cluster for which to add an account and click [User Management].
- When the User Management pop-up appears, enter information for the account to add.
- User ID: enter an account ID 4-16 characters long.
- Tag: select permissions regarding the Management UI.
- To use the Management UI, make sure to select Tag and assign permissions to the account.
- For more information on each permission, see Permission.
- Password: enter an account password 4-16 characters long.
- Click [Add MQ User].
- The added account appears on the account list.
Editing account information
You can edit the permissions or change the password for your account.
Note
If you have forgotten your account password, you can use the Change Password option to reset your password.
To change the account information, do the following:
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Application Services > Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ.
- Click and select the cluster connected to the account to edit, and click [User Management].
- When the User management pop-up appears, click [Edit] for the account to edit.
- Edit the account information and click [Save].
- On the Edit MQ User pop-up, click [Edit].
Deleting account
To delete a RabbitMQ account, do the following:
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Application Services > Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ.
- Click and select the cluster connected to the account to delete, and once it is selected, click [User Management].
- When the User Management pop-up appears, click [Delete] for the account to delete.
- On the Delete MQ User pop-up, click [Delete].
- The deleted account disappears from the list.
