    Create organization

Independent accounts can create an organization for unified management of accounts within an organization.
By creating an organization, you may integrate payments for all accounts in the organization. The account that created the organization is the master account. The master account may invite other accounts and may set the usage limits for each account group through the Quota Policy. In addition, the master account may view the cost and service using status of the member account in the organization.

    Note
    • Only a business account is allowed to create an organization. A personal account cannot create an organization.
    • Accounts with unpaid balance are not allowed to create an organization.
    • You may create only 1 organization per account.
    • If you belong to an organization, you may not create another organization.
    • The independent account that created the organization becomes the master account for that organization.

The following describes how to create an organization.

    1. Click the Services > Management & Governance > Organization menu one by one on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Organization menu.
    3. Click the [Create organization] button.
    4. Check the details in the Create organization pop-up window, and then click the [Create] button.
      • A default Quota Policy is created when creating an organization.
        • The default quota policy is applied to the master account, and you can change the utilization of the default quota policy.
        • The master account can set the Quota Policy for the entire organization.
        • You cannot delete the default Quota Policy.

    Delete organization

    Note
    • You may delete an organization only if there are no member accounts in the organization. When there is a member account, see Forcefully withdraw member accounts and withdraw member accounts.
    • If you delete an organization, you can still view data about member account costs for the month that you have already been billed for through the master account.

    Approve joining/inviting an organization

The master account transfers an invitation request to an organization by entering the name and email address of the independent account.
Independent accounts can view the status of invitation requests and can approve/reject them.
The invitation request is valid for 30 days. You must be re-invited at the expiration of the validity period.

    Note
    • Only an account that has no unpaid balance and does not belong to an organization is allowed to accept the invitation.
    • You cannot invite member accounts or master accounts from other organizations.
    • Accounts that have been left or removed from an organization can be re-invited to the same organization.

    Apply for organization withdrawal

    Note

    • The withdrawal is completed when the master account accepts the application for the withdrawal after you applied for it. If the master account rejects the application for withdrawal, you may not be withdrawn.
    • Withdrawal is not processed immediately. The "withdrawal application" status will remain until the settlement of the month is completed (until the 2nd at 23:59 of the next month), and the target member account will be withdrawn from the Organization after the settlement is completed.
