RAG Content Operation Policy

The RAG service of NAVER Cloud Platform prohibits the uploading of illegal or antisocial content to the RAG service, as well as the creation of illegal or antisocial content using the RAG service, in order to provide a service that users can trust and that does not cause harm to third parties. Therefore, technical measures may be taken to prohibit the uploading of content that is inappropriate for the RAG service or to prohibit the input of certain text. If content that cannot be created or distributed using the RAG service is created and distributed, NAVER Cloud Platform may impose sanctions on the content in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. If any problems arise from content created and distributed using the RAG service, the user shall bear all responsibility, and if NAVER Cloud Platform suffers damage due to the user's problems, NAVER Cloud Platform may demand appropriate compensation from the user.
The following content is not suitable for creation using the RAG service.

Content that infringes on the rights of others

Content that infringes on the rights of others includes the following:

  • Disclosure of personal information: The content infringing on the privacy and portrait rights of individuals, such as posting other people's personal information (the information that can identify a specific individual by name, resident registration number, address, photo, video, etc.)
  • Defamation
    • In case of slander or dissemination of false information against individuals or groups, or in case of infringement of rights
    • Content that insults a person's character or causes displeasure with vulgar expressions such as profanity or verbal abuse
    • Content that is repeatedly sent or shown to the other party with signs, words, sounds, images or videos that cause fear or anxiety in the recipient
    • Any other content that violates the rights of others without proper authority

Content that disrupts social order

Content that disrupts social order includes the following:

  • Content that promotes speculative drive such as gambling
  • Content that promotes or justifies the unscientific lifestyle attitudes such as superstition worship
  • Content that slanders, distorts, or mocks a particular religion, sect, or ritual
  • Content that depreciates socially marginalized groups such as the disabled and the elderly
  • Content that significantly harms the spirit of education, such as school education, by distorting facts, etc.
  • Content that discriminates against or promotes prejudice against gender, religion, disability, age, social status, origin, race, region, occupation, etc. without reasonable grounds
  • Information that is for the purpose of suicide, or likely to cause suicidal thoughts by glorifying, assisting, or soliciting it
  • Content that damages, destroys, modifies, or falsifies the information communication system, data, or programs or interferes with its operation without any justifiable reasons
  • Content that mediates, induces, promotes, or aids prostitution
  • Other content that is likely to cause significant social confusion

Content infringing copyright

Content that infringes copyright includes the following:

  • In case of copying, distributing, remaking, or transmitting the intellectual activity outcomes of others such as broadcasting, sound sources, movies, novels, mobile games, cartoons, images, etc.
  • Content that neutralizes the technical protection measures prepared by the holder of a right to protect their rights, such as sharing CD key automatic generation programs, bugs, or nuclear programs
  • Content that infringes on the trademark rights, design rights, etc. belonging to the rights of others without permission

Illegal content

Content that is illegal includes the following:

  • Content that glorifies, solicits, or promotes crime-related content, or that may induce a crime by specifically describing the means or method of the crime, or the process or result leading to the crime, and content corresponding to the violations of the law under related laws
  • Information that may make the crime appear legitimate by glorifying a crime, criminal or criminal group, etc.
  • Content that stimulates or glorifies degenerate behaviors such as sexual violence, drug use, etc.
  • Content that requests or recommends, induces, and mediates murder
  • Content that describes or glorifies sexual crimes such as sexual violence, rape, gang rape, etc.
  • Content that seeks or mediates sexual-amusement targets such as prostitution, cybersex, and explicitly sexual conversations
  • Content that guide or mediate pornographic information or places with obscene businesses
  • In case of posting illegal materials such as resident registration number generators, card generators, item generators, etc.
  • In case of selling or introducing illegal products to users
  • In case of filming or posting images of another person's body against their will, causing sexual embarrassment
  • In case of distributing illegal hacking information
  • In case of posting false facts or illegal content such as illegal pyramid business activities or similar deposit-taking activities
  • In case of providing a link to another site that has illegal content
  • In case of generating financial transactions related to the body such as human eggs, organs, surrogate mother, etc.
  • In case of including, inducing or distributing programs that interfere with NAVER's business, such as the programs that hinder the user's service environment including malwares and viruses, and search abusing
  • Other information that is likely to significantly harm good and sound legal order by encouraging crimes or illegal acts that violate laws and regulations
  • In case of showing a scene where a person without a license is performing a work that requires a nationally recognized license, etc. (except for cases where the purpose of the public interest is clear, such as the status report news)
