In Group, you can create and manage resource groups. You can specify multiple resources as a single logical group and systematically manage various resources in NAVER Cloud Platform.
Group page
The basics of using Group menu for Resource Manager are as follows.

Create group
You can create resource groups based on individual resources or tags.
- Groups based on individual resources: You can directly select resources to add to the group.
- Groups based on tags: If you set a specific tag, resources that have the tag is automatically added to the group. To create groups based on tags, tags need to be added to resources first. For more information, refer to Change tag.
The following describes how to create a group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
- Click the Group menu.
- Click the [Create group] button.
- From the Create group page, enter the basic information.
- Group name: name of the resource group set by the user
- Up to 50 characters can be entered, and certain special characters (-, _) can be used.
- Group description: Enter the description of the resource group.
- Group name: name of the resource group set by the user
- Add resources to the group through group settings.
- Resource-based group settings: Click the [Unfold] button of Resource-based settings, select resources to add to the group, and then click the [Add selected resources] button.
- You can search for resources by entering the resource name, or by selecting the product (service) or region they belong to.
- To cancel the addition of a resource, select the resource from the list of selected resources, and then click the [Exclude added resource] button.
- Tag-based group settings: Click the [Unfold] button of Tag-based settings, and then select tags to set as tag conditions from Tag.
- Resources that have these tags are automatically added to the group.
- When adding multiple tags, individual conditions are applied with the OR operation.
- Resource-based group settings: Click the [Unfold] button of Resource-based settings, select resources to add to the group, and then click the [Add selected resources] button.
- Click the [Add] button.
- You can click the [Preview] button to preview resources and tag conditions to be added to the group.
Note
- Resource-based group settings and tag-based group settings can be applied at the same time, and all resources that correspond to each settings are added.
- When you change the tag of a resource, the resource is automatically added to or excluded from the group according to tag conditions of the group.
Search group
The following describes how to check the information of a created group and list of resources included in the group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
- Click the Group menu.
- Click the name of the target group.
- When the Search group pop-up window appears, check the group information, or check the resources included in the group from the Resource list.
- Name: group name specified when creating the group
- Description: description entered when creating the group
- Creation date: date and time the group was created
- Change date: date and time the group settings were changed last
- Tag condition: tag condition for automatically adding resources to the group
- Resource list: list of resources included in the group
- You can search for resources by entering the resource name, or by selecting or entering the product (service) or region they belong to.
- Click the [OK] button.
Change group
The following describes how to change the settings of a created group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
- Click the Group menu.
- Select the checkbox of the group whose information you want to change.
- Click the [Change group] button.
- Modify the Description of the group or change the settings, and then click the [Apply] button.
- For more information about items in settings, refer to Create group.
- You can click the [Preview] button to preview resources and tag conditions to be added to the group after modification.
- Click the [Apply] button.
Delete group
The following describes how to delete a created group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
- Click the Group menu.
- Select the checkbox of the group you want to delete.
- Click the [Delete group] button.
- When the Delete group pop-up window appears, click the [Yes] button.
