In Create and terminate firewall, how to create a firewall and terminate unused firewalls is described.

Create firewall

The following describes how to create a firewall.

1. Click the Services > Services > Security > Secure Zone menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console one-by-one in that order.
2. Click the Secure Zone Firewall menu.
3. Click the [Create firewall] button.
4. Specify the settings from the settings pop-up window, and then click the [Create] button.

   • Zone: zone to create a firewall

   • Firewall type: type of firewall to create

     • Features provided by firewall type

       Allow private IP communication	O	O
       Allow SSL VPN communication	O	O

     Note

     The following are the conditions for creating an advanced firewall.

     • There must be a created private subnet. If there is no private subnet, please create one according to Create private subnet.
     • There must be a standard firewall in the same zone. If there is no standard firewall, please create a standard firewall together when creating an advanced firewall.

   • Log storage integration: integration with Cloud Log Analytics

     • If Cloud Log Analytics is not being used, a popup window for requesting a subscription will appear, and you can request a subscription in the popup window.

Terminate firewall

The following describes how to terminate a firewall.

1. Click the Services > Services > Security > Secure Zone menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console one-by-one in that order.
2. Click the Secure Zone Firewall menu.
3. After checking the details of the terminate firewall popup window, click the [Terminate] button.
4. In the notification pop-up window, click the [Confirm] button.
   • The firewall is terminated.
