Start Secure Zone

Available in Classic

If you have checked the Secure Zone usage environment and support specifications and are familiar with the overall Usage scenario and Glossary, you have completed the preparation to start using the Secure Zone. The first thing to do is to request a subscription to the Secure Zone. Configure for requesting subscription and using the Secure Zone through the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Request subscription

The following describes how to request a subscription to the Secure Zone.

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click the Services > Security > Secure Zone menu one-by-one in that order.
3. Click the [Request subscription] button.
4. Confirm and agree to the terms and conditions, and then click the [Request subscription] button.
5. In the notification pop-up window, click the [Confirm] button.

Create servers

The following describes how to create a Secure Zone server.

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click the Services > Compute > Server menus, in that order.
3. Click the [Create server] button.
4. Select the server image, and then click the [Next] button.
5. Set up the server to be created, and then click the [Next] button.
   • Make sure to select Secure Zone for Create server under the Secure Zone item.
6. Select an authentication key, and then click the [Next] button.
7. Select ACG, and then click the [Next] button.
8. After the final confirmation, click the [Create server] button.

Create SSL VPN

The following describes how to create SSL VPN.

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click the Services > Networking > SSL VPN menu one-by-one in that order.
3. Click the [Create SSL VPN] button.
4. Specify the SSL VPN settings to create, and then click the [Apply] button.

Cancel subscription

There is no separate procedure for canceling a subscription to the Secure Zone. If you no longer want to use the Secure Zone, please return all the firewalls created. No additional charges will be applied if you return all the created firewalls. If you want to use Secure Zone again in the future, you can create and use firewalls without a separate request for subscription.
