    Set up IDS

    The following describes how to check the targets protected by Security Monitoring IDS (V2).
    You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the IDS (V2) service through the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    Check IDS protection targets

    To check the IDS protection targets, follow these steps:

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the Region you’re using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select VPC.
    4. Click the Services > Security > Security Monitoring menus in order.
    5. Click the Setting > Security Equipment menus.
    6. You can view the protection targets using IDS (V2) and download the list in Excel format through the download option at the top.

    Set up Anti-Virus

    The following describes how to check, add, and delete the targets protected by Security Monitoring Anti-Virus (V2).
    You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the Anti-Virus (V2) service through the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    Check Anti-Virus protection targets

    To check the Anti-Virus protection targets, follow these steps:

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the Region you’re using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select VPC.
    4. Click the Services > Security > Security Monitoring menus in order.
    5. Click the Setting > Security Equipment menus.
    6. You can view the protection targets using Anti-Virus (V2) and download the list in Excel format through the download option at the top.

    Add and delete Anti-Virus protection targets

    To add or delete Anti-Virus (V2) protection targets, follow these steps:

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the Region you’re using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select VPC.
    4. Click the Services > Security > Security Monitoring menus in order.
    5. Click the Setting > Security Equipment menus.
    6. In the Anti-Virus (V2) tab, you can add or delete protection targets.
      • Add or delete targets: click the checkbox in the list of configured protection targets to add or delete them.
        • Add: you can add Anti-Virus (V2) protection targets when the Agent status is "On" and the server status is "RUN."
        • Delete: you can unsubscribe from Anti-Virus (V2).

    Set up IPS

    The following describes how to check, add, and delete the targets protected by Security Monitoring IPS (V2).
    You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the IPS (V2) service through the Naver Cloud Platform console.

    Check IPS protection targets

    To check the IPS (V2) protection targets, follow these steps:

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the Region you’re using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select VPC.
    4. Click the Services > Security > Security Monitoring menus in order.
    5. Click the Setting > Security Equipment menus.
    6. You can view the protection targets using IPS (V2) and download the list in Excel format through the download option at the top.

    Add and delete IPS protection targets

    To add or delete IPS (V2) protection targets, follow these steps:

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the Region you’re using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select VPC.
    4. Click the Services > Security > Security Monitoring menus in order.
    5. Click the Setting > Security Equipment menus.
    6. In the IPS (V2) tab, you can add or delete protection targets and download policies.
      • Add or delete targets: click the checkbox in the list of configured protection targets to add or delete them.
        • Add: you can add IPS (V2) protection targets when the Agent status is "On" and the server status is "RUN."
        • Delete: you can unsubscribe from IPS (V2).
      • Change operating mode: you can change the operating mode of the selected protection targets.
      • Schedule management: you can view, add, or delete operating mode schedules.
        • Add schedule: you can select the operating mode, change date, and monitoring targets to add schedules.
        • Delete schedule: you can delete schedules by clicking the checkbox in the schedule management list.
        • Delete server: you can delete servers targeted for operating mode changes registered in the schedule.
      • Download policy: you can download IPS (V2) policies set for each server.
    Note
    • When you apply for IPS (V2), the operating mode is initially set to "DETECT," and a default schedule is registered to change it to "PREVENT" after one month. You can check and manage registered schedules in Schedule Management where you can also add or delete them.
    • You can register schedules for changing operating modes for up to 2 months in advance.
    • IPS (V2) policies are automatically set by the solution by scanning the OS and applications in use on VMs, and the specific policy may vary by system.
