    If you have checked the supported specifications for Security Monitoring and duly noted service concepts and terms, then you are now ready to start using Security Monitoring. The next step is to request to use Security Monitoring. The Security Monitoring subscription request is processed by agreeing to the Terms of Service and submitting the service request form.
    When you subscribe, you will select and request only the desired security services, rather than requesting all security services provided by Security Monitoring at once.

    Subscribe

    To subscribe for Security Monitoring, you need to agree to the Terms of Service in NAVER Cloud Platform console, and then fill out the service request form and submit it through NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

    1. Agree to the Terms of Service

    To agree to the Security Monitoring Terms and Conditions from NAVER Cloud Platform console follow these steps:

    1. Access NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click and select the region you're using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click and select Classic.
    4. Click Services > Security > Security Monitoring one by one in order.
    5. Click the Subscription menu.
    6. Click the [Subscribe] button.
    7. When the Terms of Service popup window appears, click I have read and agree to the Security Monitoring.
    8. Click the [OK] button.

    2. Submit the service request form

    Once you've agreed to the Terms of Service, you need to download the Security Monitoring service request form from NAVER Cloud Platform portal, fill it out, and then submit it. The submitted service request form is checked and then approved by NAVER Cloud Platform personnel. To fill out and submit service request forms follow these steps:

    1. Access NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
    2. Click Customer support > Support center > Materials, in order.
    3. Click Security Monitoring service request form and download it.
    4. Enter the request form for the Classic environment.
      • Click and select the security services you want to use.

    5. Click Customer support > Support center > Contact us, in order.
    6. Click the Service tab menu.
    7. Enter the information required for the subscription request, attach the filled out request form, and then click the [Contact us] button.
    Caution

    You should familiarize yourself with precautions for using each security service before requesting security services in Step 4. For precautions for each security service, see Prerequisites for using Security Monitoring.

    Note
    • If you want to subscribe to Security Monitoring in the VPC environment in addition to the Classic environment, you need to fill out a separate request form for the VPC environment and submit it. For information about using it in the VPC environment, see VPC > Getting started with Security Monitoring.
    • If you click the [Contact us] button by clicking Services > Security > Security Monitoring, in order, in NAVER Cloud Platform portal, you can proceed with Steps 5 to 7 at once.

    Unsubscribe

    You can cancel the Security Monitoring subscription from NAVER Cloud Platform portal. You can cancel the service whenever you want. The submitted cancellation request is reviewed by NAVER Cloud Platform personnel, and is processed by contacting you separately. To cancel your subscription follow these steps:

    1. Access NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
    2. Click Customer support > Support center > Materials, in order.
    3. Click Security Monitoring service request form and download it.
    4. Enter the request form for the Classic environment.
      • Click and select the security services you want to unsubscribe from.
      • For Request type, select Unsubscribe.

    5. Click Customer support > Support center > Contact us, in order.
    6. Click the Service tab menu.
    7. Enter the information required to unsubscribe, attach the completed request form, and then click the [Contact us] button.
    Note
    • If you click the [Contact us] button by clicking Services > Security > Security Monitoring, in order, in NAVER Cloud Platform portal, you can proceed with Steps 5 to 7 at once.
    • Upon cancellation of your subscription, we will send an email notification to the account that you applied for cancellation at 9 a.m. on the day following the cancellation date. The data of Security Monitoring will be deleted 30 days after the date of cancellation.
