If you have checked the specifications for Security Monitoring and duly noted service concepts and terms, then you are now ready to start using Security Monitoring. The next step is to subscribe to Security Monitoring. The subscription to Security Monitoring is processed by agreeing to the Terms of Service and submitting the service request form.
When you subscribe, you will select and request only the desired security services, rather than requesting all security services provided by Security Monitoring at once.
In the current Classic environment, new user subscriptions are not available. However, existing users can still modify or cancel their configuration.
Change request
To subscribe for Security Monitoring, you need to agree to the Terms of Service in NAVER Cloud Platform console, and fill out the service request form and submit it through the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
1. Submit the service request form
Once you've agreed to the Terms of Service, you need to download the Security Monitoring service request form from the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, fill it out, and submit it. The submitted service request form is checked and approved by the NAVER Cloud Platform personnel. To fill out and submit service request form, follow these steps:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
- Click Customer support > Support center > Materials in order.
- Click Security Monitoring service request form and download it.
- Enter the request form for the Classic environment.
- Click and select the security services you want to use.

- Click and select the security services you want to use.
- Click Customer support > Support center > Contact us in order.
- Click the Service tab menu.
- Enter the information required for the subscription, attach the filled out request form, and click the [Contact us] button.
You should familiarize yourself with precautions for using each security service before requesting security services in Step 4. For more information on precautions for each security service, see Security Monitoring prerequisites.
- In the Classic environment, new customer subscriptions are not available.
- Existing customers can still request changes or unsubscription.
- If you want to subscribe to Security Monitoring in the VPC environment in addition to the Classic environment, you need to fill out a separate request form for the VPC environment and submit it. For more information about using it in the VPC environment, see VPC > Getting started with Security Monitoring.
- If you click the [Contact us] button by clicking Services > Security > Security Monitoring in order on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, you can proceed with Steps 5 to 7 at once.
Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe from the Security Monitoring in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal. You can cancel the service whenever you want. The submitted unsubscription request is reviewed by the NAVER Cloud Platform personnel, and is processed by contacting you separately. To unsubscribe, follow these steps:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
- Click Customer support > Support center > Materials in order.
- Click Security Monitoring service request form and download it.
- Enter the request form for the Classic environment.
- Click and select the security services you want to unsubscribe from.
- From Request type, select Unsubscribe.

- Click Customer support > Support center > Contact us in order.
- Click the Service tab menu.
- Enter the information required to unsubscribe, attach the completed request form, and click the [Contact us] button.
- If you click the [Contact us] button by clicking Services > Security > Security Monitoring in order on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, you can proceed with Steps 5 to 7 at once.
- Once the unsubscription is complete, an email notification is sent to the account that you applied for unsubscription at 9 AM on the day following the unsubscription date. The data of Security Monitoring is deleted 30 days after the date of unsubscription.
