    Channel explains how to create/edit/delete channels and how to register users to created channels.

    Note

    To use features provided in the Push > Channel menu, you must have a project set up to use Push. To create a project, see Create project, and to edit the settings of a created project, see Edit project.

    Create channel

    You can create a channel to send Push messages to specific users only.
    The following describes how to create a channel.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the Push > Channel menu in order.
    4. Select the project to create a channel and click the [Create channel] button.
    5. When the Create channel popup window appears, enter the channel name and description, and then click the [Create] button.
      • The channel is created and added to the list.

    Register user

    You can send Push messages to each channel by registering users in the created channel.
    Only the OPEN API provides a feature to register and manage users in channels. See PUSH API of the Simple & Easy Notification Service API guide.

    Note

    You cannot register the same user to multiple channels, but only to 1 channel.

    Edit channel

    The following describes how to edit a channel.

    Note
    • The channel name cannot be modified.
    • To add a user to a channel or delete a registered user, see PUSH API.
    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the Push > Channel menu in order.
    4. Select the project with the channel to be edited.
    5. Select the channel to edit and then click the [Edit] button.
    6. When the Edit channel popup window appears, edit the channel description and then click the [OK] button.
      • The edited content is applied.

    Delete channel

    The following describes how to delete a channel.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the Push > Channel menu in order.
    4. Select the project with the channel to be deleted.
    5. Select the channel to delete and then click the [Delete] button.
    6. When the Delete project pop-up window appears, enter the channel name to delete and click the [Delete] button.
      • The channel is deleted from the list and is no longer visible.
