You can create a server image using the snapshot created from the default storage of KVM hypervisor type.
The following describes how to create a server image with snapshot.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Compute > Server menus, in that order.
- Click the Snapshot menu.
- From the snapshot list, select the snapshot with which you want to create a server image, and then click the [Create My server image] button.
- Only if the hypervisor is KVM and the default storage is marked as Y is the function button enabled.
- Set the server image name and the default storage capacity in the Create My server image pop-up window.
- Server images must start with an English letter and you must enter between 3-30 characters using uppercase and lowercase English letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
- If you want to change the default storage capacity, you can set it above the original server storage capacity but below the maximum capacity for each storage type.
- If necessary, click the [Add storage] button to create additional storage and enter information.
- Storage name: it must start with an English letter. Enter between 3-30 characters using uppercase and lowercase English letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_)
- Snapshot name: select the snapshot to apply to additional storage if necessary
- Size: set within the range according to the storage type
- Storage type: can select any desired type regardless of the default storage type
- Click the [Create] button.
- A server image is created. You can view the created server image in the Server Image menu.
