You can create a server image using the snapshot created from the default storage of KVM hypervisor type.
To create a server image with snapshot:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Compute > Server. - Click the Snapshot menu.
- From the snapshot list, select the snapshot with which you want to create a server image, and click [Create My server image].
- Only if the hypervisor is KVM and the default storage is marked as Y is the feature button enabled.
- Set the server image name and the default storage capacity in the Create My server image popup.
- The server image name must be 3-30 characters long and begin with a letter. They must contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens, and/or underscores.
- If you want to change the default storage capacity, you can set it above the original server storage capacity but below the maximum capacity for each storage volume type.
- If necessary, click [Add storage] to create additional storage and enter information.
- Storage name: Must be 3-30 characters long and begin with a letter. They must contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens, and/or underscores.
- Snapshot name: Select the snapshot to apply to additional storage if necessary.
- Size: Set within the range according to the storage volume type.
- Storage volume type: You can select any desired volume type regardless of the default storage volume type.
- Click [Create].
- A server image is created. You can view the created server image in the Server Image menu.
