You might run into the following problems when using Service Quota. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Unable to increase limit
I increased the limit, but the change has not been applied.
Cause
- Requests eligible for immediate increase are approved automatically. However, requests that exceed the immediate increase limit or are not eligible for immediate increase require review by a service administrator. Review can take several days and is either approved or rejected depending on the result.
- If you are a member account in Organization, you must request the master account to submit the limit increase application.
Solution
- If you requested an increase beyond the immediate limit, it may take about 5 business days to process.
- If you are a member account in Organization, you must request the master account to submit the limit increase application.
Unable to request limit increase
A server limit increase is needed, but requests are restricted.
Cause
Service Quota limit increase requests are available only to business accounts.
Solution
If you need a limit increase from a personal account, contact Customer Support and provide the required resources and purpose of use.
If you use a personal account and need to increase your server creation limit, select Increase server creation limit as the inquiry type and provide the following information:
- Member number (or login ID)
- Platform in use (Classic/VPC)
- Region
- Product
- Requested limit (server, number by specification code)
- Usage period (start date to end date)
- Reason for limit increase
