Available in Classic and VPC
There are a few terms you need to know to use SourceDeploy. The terms and their descriptions are as follows.
Classic environment
A platform that does not provide Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), a customer-only private network, on public cloud
PromQL (Prometheus Query Language)
A query language with which users can select and aggregate time series data in Prometheus in real time
User Created
Policies arbitrarily created by account users on Sub Account of NAVER Cloud Platform
VPC environment
A platform that provides Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), a customer-only private network, on public cloud
Docker image
A form that includes all files and settings required to create and run containers in Docker
Docker
An open-source project that automates the task of placing Linux application programs in software containers
Repository
A storage that allows information scattered within an organization or information related to the development of an application system to be collected and shared
Manifest
A file containing metadata for setting information needed for the distribution of each service in open platform services (source: Telecommunications Technology Association)
Metric
Performance indicators collected by Prometheus
Bucket
Data storage space. The top directory where related objects have been grouped.
Branch
The independent version of the data that each user generated from a project. After modifying, changing, or adding files in a branch, the branch is merged into the master branch (main directory of a project) through a pull request to perform data updates.
Sub Account
A sub account created under the default account (main account) that can be specified to manage permissions for each task and role
SourceDeploy
An automated deployment service that deploys and applies newly written or updated sources to the server automatically
SourceBuild
A managed source code building service that supports source code compiling, which includes code compile and test, and component packaging all at once
SourceCommit
A private Git repository for secure storage and management of source code and files required for development
SourcePipeline
An automation service that supports fast and stable software releases by integrating repository, build, and deployment processes
Object Storage
An object storage service that allows you to save and check data, regardless of type, anytime and anywhere
Container Registry
A service that saves and manages the container image easily from the private Docker registry, thus enabling easy distribution to NAVER Cloud Platform.
Cluster
A method for saving the data of joined or frequently used tables in the same disk location to reduce the time it takes to read data from the disk
Health check
A behavior of executing regular status checks on Auto Scaling Group's virtual servers, checking to identify virtual servers with an abnormal status
