You can sign up as either individual or business, depending on the member type. For individuals or businesses who want to apply for NAVER Cloud Platform's partners, they have to sign up in the same way.

Caution

In principle, essential member information such as member type, name (or business name), and business registration number can't be changed after signing up. Even if you apply for changes, your request may be rejected if deemed necessary after NAVER Cloud's review. Please enter your information carefully when signing up.

Sign up as individual

When you sign up for the portal as an individual, you will automatically sign up with the console's main account. To sign up as an individual, select the country and member type first. You have to agree to the terms and conditions and enter your personal information. Once you complete your identity authentication for the entered information and select the language you use, your sign-up as an individual is completed. To use NAVER Cloud Platform's services and solutions normally, however, you have to log in again and register the payment method to complete the actual sign-up process. The procedure so far is as follows.
You can sign up as an individual as follows.

  1. Access to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  2. Click Sign up at the upper right of the NAVER Cloud Platform portal page.
  3. On the sign-up page, select the country you live in from Select country (residence), then Individual from the Member type.
  4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions for use and click the [Next] button.
  5. On the page to enter member information, enter your login information.
  • ID: Enter the email address format to receive key notification regarding login and services. Click the [Send email] button to authenticate.
  • Password: Enter the password to be used when logging in between 8 to 16 characters by combining English letters, numbers, and special characters
  • Confirm password: Enter the password to be used when logging in once again
  1. After entering the login information, enter your personal information and click the [Next] button.
  • Name: Enter the name of the customer that will sign up as an individual
  • Date of birth: Select the date of birth for the customer that will sign up as an individual
  • Country: Check the selected country information in the Sign up page
  • Address: Enter the address of the customer that will sign up as an individual
  • Mobile phone number: Enter your mobile phone number and click the [Verify mobile phone number] button to authenticate
  • Language in use: Select the language in which you would like to receive notifications on important service related information from among Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified).
  • Service area: Select the service area where the customer that will sign up as an individual wants to implement with NAVER Cloud Platform
  • Signing-up channel: A channel to sign up for NAVER Cloud Platform
  1. Signed up successfully.
Caution

Once you've finished signing up in the portal, you can use trial services for free in the the console. In order to switch from a trial to a paid plan or start using any NAVER Cloud Platform service, you must register a payment method first. For details on how to register a payment method, please refer to Register payment method.

Note

You can receive all news and information provided by NAVER Cloud Platform via email or SMS if you consent to receive marketing materials


Sign up as business

When you sign up for the portal as a business, you will automatically sign up with the console's main account. To sign up as a business, select the country and member type first. You have to agree to the terms and conditions and enter your personal information. Once you complete your authentication for the entered information and select the language you use, your sign-up process as a business is completed. To use NAVER Cloud Platform's services and solutions normally, however, you have to log in again and register the payment method to complete the actual sign-up process. The procedure so far is as follows.
You can sign up as a business as follows.

  1. Access to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  2. Click Sign up at the upper right of the NAVER Cloud Platform portal page.
  3. On the sign-up page, select your country from Select country (residence), then Business from the Member type.
  4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions for use and click the [Next] button.
  5. On the page to enter member information, enter your login information.

  • Company name: Enter the name of a company that will sign up as a business
  • Country: Check the selected country information in the Sign up page

  • Name of the person in charge: Enter the name of the person in charge of the company that will sign up
  • Mobile phone number: Enter the mobile phone number of the person in charge of the company that will sign up and click the [Verify mobile phone number] to authenticate
  • Business registration number: Enter the business registration number of the company that will sign up
Note

For general taxpayers (private businesses), submit the copy of the business license after masking the last 7 digits of the resident registration number.

  • CEO: Enter the name of CEO of the company that will sign up
  • Business type/business item: Enter the business type and business item of the company that will sign up
  • Issue tax invoice (tax): Select either This month or Next month for the date of issuing tax invoice
  • Evidential document: Click the [Attach file] button to upload a copy of the certificate of business registration which can verify the business. The attached file should be 5 MB or smaller with a file extension from among .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .bmp, .tiff, .tif, and .pdf.
  • Language in use: Select the language in which you would like to receive notifications on important service related information from among Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified).
  • Service area: Select the service area where the customer that will sign up as a business wants to implement with NAVER Cloud Platform
  • Signing-up channel: A channel to sign up for NAVER Cloud Platform
  1. Signed up successfully.
Caution

Once you've finished signing up in the portal, you can use trial services for free in the the console. Note

The authentication may fail with the registered email address in the following cases.

  • Full inbox
  • Spam-blocking settings
  • Wrong email address
  • Delay in sending authentication email due to unstable email receiving status by the company

Create sub account

Suppose the console's main account is created automatically after signing up for NAVER Cloud Platform portal as an individual or business. In that case, you can additionally create a Sub Account. A sub account serves as an assistant to use and manage the resources of the main account together, but only for services that provide Sub Account services on the console. With the sub account, you can use the services within the permissions granted. The entire process from creating to operating a sub account is performed as follows: Create a sub account > Set policies > Set the login pages within the dashboard.
You can check the entire activity history of a sub account through the Cloud Activity Tracer.

Note

Cloud Activity Tracer provides and manages record (access record) information on account activities performed by users through the console and APIs on NAVER Cloud Platform. For more information and how to use Cloud Activity Tracer, please refer to the Service introduction and the Guide.

You can create sub accounts as follows.

  1. Access to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  2. Click Login at the upper right of the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  3. Enter the account information on the login page and click the [Login] button.
  4. Click the [Console] button at the upper right of the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  5. Click Products & Services, then Sub Account in the Management on NAVER Cloud Platform's console page.
  6. Click the [Create sub account] button to register a sub account.
  7. Enter the sub account information and login password on the page to create sub accounts and click [Create].

  1. Log in with the sub account to set the items you need.
  • Sub account login: The user can use their sub account to log in to the portal and access the console. For more information, please see the Use sub account section in the Sub Account guide.
  • Policy settings: The user can set up the policy to apply to their sub account. For details on policy types and how to set it up, please refer to Sub Account guide and Manage detailed permissions per service.
  • Dashboard login page settings: The user can specify the pages accessible to the sub account. For detailed information, please see the Create a sub account section in the Sub Account guide.
