Install and Synchronize the PC App
You can also use WORKBOX by installing the PC app after requesting a subscription on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. The PC app can be synced to the local system, so there is an advantage of easier management and content sharing. The following describes how to install the WORKBOX PC app and synchronize it.
If the admin disabled the sync function, then the sync does not work correctly. Contact the admin.
- Enter the WORKBOX access URL for your company on a web browser to access it.
- Enter the account's email address and password, and click the [Login] button.
- Click the [WORKBOX Download] button at the bottom left of the screen.
- When the Download PC/mobile app window appears, click the [Download] button of the OS you are using in the PC tab.
- Install the downloaded file and run the app.
- Enter the account's email address and password, and click the [Login] button.
- Click Environment setting and click the [Synchronize] tab menu.
- Select a sync method in Set synchronization method.
- Smart synchronization: uploading the file for online only, and downloading it to the user PC when needed.
- General synchronization: saving files both online and on the user’s PC
- To select the WORKBOX folder to sync with my folder, click the [Select folder] button.
- Select the folder and click the [OK] button.
- Click the [Select location] button to select the folder to synchronize with WORKBOX, and click the [OK] button.
- Click the [Save] button.
The following describes how to suspend or disable synchronization.
- Suspend: select [Suspend synchronization] in the [Synchronize] tab menu of 7.
- Disable: in the [Synchronize] tab menu of 7, uncheck Suspend synchronization or click the [Resume synchronization] button on the synchronization status banner exposed at the bottom of the main page of the app.
To synchronize a specific folder (file) in the user’s PC, right-click the folder (file) and click Send to WORKBOX folder. You can check synchronization results as follows by right-clicking the folder (file) and clicking View on the WORKBOX web.
Smart Sync
Smart sync allows you to upload folders (files) to WORKBOX, and download them only when necessary to the user' PC and use them. Online only folders (files) do not take up the PC's capacity, leading to the efficient use of the PC. Synchronized folders (files) are uploaded as online only folders (files), and you can check the folders (files) shared on the PC web in the Workbox folder of the user PC.
Sync Status Display Icon
Displays the sync status, allowing you to check the status of each folder (file) through the icon

Sync failed | - It indicates that the folder (file) cannot be synchronized. - In case of sync failure, you can check the reason from the PC app's notification window |
Change Sync Status
Synced folders (files) exist as Online only by default. You can change the sync status to Local only or Online only if needed.
- Open the Workbox folder on the local PC.
- Right-click the folder (file) to change the status.
- Click the desired action, either Change to local only or Change to online only.
- Tasks that can be executed vary depending on the status of the existing folder (file).

Smart sync is only available in Windows 10, 1709 or higher version.
Smart sync settings are applied in units of PCs. Even if you log in with a different account, the smart sync mode is applied to the PC set with the smart sync.
Auto login
WORKBOX administrators can allow automatic login to the PC app to increase the convenience of users. Administrators can set automatic login on the PC client as follows:
- Click the Service preferences> Security menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click the [Manage access] tab menu.
- Select whether to allow Automatic login setting.
- Allowed: members can use automatic login in the WORKBOX PC app. If there is access to the PC app within 30 days and the app is run again without explicit app logout, the login authentication process is completed immediately.
- Not allowed: members cannot use automatic login in the WORKBOX PC app.
- Even though secondary authentication is set, if automatic login is allowed, the existing authentication process is maintained.
- You can use automatic login even if you are using SSO linkage setting.

Install Mobile App and Check Access
The following describes how to check if the app is installed on the mobile device and accessed normally to use WORKBOX after requesting a subscription on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Enter the WORKBOX access URL for your company on a web browser to access it.
- Enter the account's email address and password, and click the [Login] button.
- Click the [WORKBOX Download] button at the bottom left of the screen.
- When the Download PC/mobile app window appears, scan the QR code of the OS you are using in the [Mobile] tab menu.
- Install the app on a mobile device and run the app.
You can also search and install the WORKBOX app in Google Play Store if you are using Android or in App Store if you are using iOS.
Enter the account's email address and password, and click the [Login] button.
Check the app screen.
① Screen information: name of the selected main menu
② Screen: space for checking or editing the contents of the selected main menu
③ Home: go to the first screen where you can check important contents and recent contents
④ Shared folder: go to the screen for checking, managing and setting shared folders (files)
⑤ Personal folder: go to the screen for checking, managing and setting personal folders (files)
⑥ Settings and more: check related resources such as the WORKBOX app and personal information settings, user guide and notices
- User information: check the account information of users who logged in to the mobile app
- Alarm: check user task alarm list
- Deleted contents: check information on users' deleted folders (files)
- Personal information setting: edit information on user accounts
- App settings: device access information, terms and license confirmation, and latest version update
- Function settings: set whether to use automatic photo/video backup and improve background upload
- Guide and notice: go to WORKBOX-related news, inquiries, FAQ, and user guide
- Logout: log out of the mobile app
