    The user can set and manage folders (files) to use personally for work without sharing them with other collaboration colleagues in WORKBOX personal folders.

    Personal folder screen

    The basics of using personal folders are as follows:

    - Preview: view the personal file's content on the web
    - Download: save the personal folder (file) in the user's local PC
    - Online editing: allows you to directly edit files uploaded to shared (personal) folders online (Displayed only when the additional service is requested).
    - Electronic contract: executes the electronic contract directly from a file uploaded to a shared (personal) folder (Displayed only when the additional service is requested).
    - Version control: view information by version such as personal file's name, uploaded person and date, size, last edited date, etc.
    (Restore specific version: click the restore icon from the version to be restored. Delete specific version: click the x icon from the version to be deleted.)
    - Change name: edit name of the personal folder (file)
    - Folder (file) information: view information by folder (file) such as the personal folder (file)'s location, size, creation date, edited date, uploaded date, number of files, number of folders, creator, editor, etc.

    Add personal folder (file)

    You can add the folders (files) to use personally for work. Add them by uploading the folders (files) from the local system. You can also create a new folder from the personal folder screen to use.

    Upload

    The following describes how to upload and add personal folders (files) from the local device.

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Click the [Upload] button.
    3. When appears, add the folder (file) and click the [Upload] button.
    • Add folder: click the [Upload folders] button, or drag (click) it to the window to add.
    • Add file: click the [Upload files] button, or drag (click) it to the window to add.
    1. Click the [Close] button when the upload is completed.

    Create new

    The following describes how to create and add new personal folders (files).

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.

    2. Go to the path where you will create the new folder (file).

    3. Click New folder.
      Customers using online editing (additional service) may click Create new and click one of Folder, Word Document, Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation, and HWP Korean files.

    4. When or appears, check the path of the folder (file) to be created, and enter the folder (file) name. The name should not contain special characters \ / : * ? " < > |, and should not exceed 255 characters.

    5. Click the [OK] button.


    Manage personal folder (file)

    You can edit the name or content of the personal folder (file), or copy, move, or delete the folder (file).

    Edit name of personal folder (file)

    The following describes how to edit the name of the personal folder (file).

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Click the 3-dots icon from the information field of the personal folder (file) to edit, and then click Change name.
    3. When the Edit page appears, edit the name and click the Check button.
    Note

    You can also edit by clicking the pencil icon that appears when you hover the mouse over the name of the personal folder (file).

    Edit the content of the personal file

    For Office files or Hangul files uploaded to personal folders, you can edit them online without downloading them to your PC.

    Caution

    The online editing feature, which enables online editing of Office files or Hangul files, is a paid additional service that requires a separate subscription request. Only the admin can request a subscription. For more information, see Additional services.

    The following describes how to edit them.

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Click the 3-dots icon from the information field of the personal file you want to edit, and click Online editing.
    3. When the Edit page appears, edit the content.
    4. When the edited content is auto-saved, close the Edit page.

    Move personal folder (file)

    The following describes how to move the path of personal folder (file).

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Select the personal folder (file) to move, and click Move.
    3. When appears, select the path to move to from the folder tree, or click the [New folder] button to create a new folder to move it to.
    4. Click the [OK] button.
    Note
    • To view the latest version of the folder tree from step 3, click the [Refresh] button.
    • The personal folder at the top level path cannot be moved.

    Copy personal folder (file)

    The following describes how to copy the personal folder (file).

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Select the personal folder (file) to copy, and click Copy.
    3. When appears, select the path to copy to from the folder tree, or click the [New folder] button to create a new location.
    4. Click the [OK] button.
    Note

    To view the latest version of the folder tree from step 3, click the [Refresh] button.

    Delete personal folder (file)

    The following describes how to delete the personal folder (file).

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Select the personal folder (file) to delete, and click Delete.
    3. When <Delete folder/file> appears, check precautions and click the [Delete] button.
    4. Check the deleted folder (file) in WORKBOX's Deleted content.
    Note

    The folder (file) deleted from the personal folder screen moves to the Deleted content space. You can permanently delete or restore the folder (file) from Deleted content.

    Restore personal folder (file) to a previous version

    The following describes how to restore the personal folder (file) to a previous version.

    1. Click the Personal folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Select the personal folder (file) to restore to a previous version, and then click the clock icon.
    3. Click Restore of the version you want to restore to.
    4. Click the [OK] button.
