WORKBOX usage scenario

Available in Classic and VPC

You can request subscription to WORKBOX and manage preferences of the subscription in NAVER Cloud Platform's console. Therefore, switching from a trial version to a paid version or canceling subscription would also be done through the console.
However, to actually use the features of WORKBOX for work after requesting subscription is completed, you must go to the dedicated URL for your company that is to be created after the subscription request is completed and then log in. WORKBOX is generally optimized for use on PC web. For user convenience, however, we have enabled WORKBOX to be synced and used on PC or mobile apps.
You can configure user environments and purchase or terminate additional storages at WORKBOX, as well as use its basic features such as shared folders, personal folders, deleted content, etc. However, setting up the user environment and storages can only be done by admins.
The overall WORKBOX usage scenarios that have been described so far are as follows.

Admin scenario

The usage scenario for an admin is as follows.

1. Request subscription to WORKBOX: Console

• Request subscription to WORKBOX and set default settings
• WORKBOX is to be used from the trial version for 30 days from the moment of the subscription request
• Switch to a paid plan anytime during the trial period

3. Invite members and use the file sharing service

User scenario

The usage scenario for a user is as follows.

1. Receive a sign-up invitation email from the admin

• User can use WORKBOX when invited to sign up as a member by the admin

Link customer scenario

All admins and users are also link customers. There are cases a link customer is neither an admin nor user. In such cases, the link customer can't use WORKBOX's sharing service features, but they can only download the content shared from WORKBOX. This scenario assumes the latter to explain. The usage scenario for a link customer is as follows.

1. Receive a sharing link passed from a WORKBOX user

• Receive the sharing link via email or other means

2. Download the content (folders, files) via the sharing link

• Download the content from the received link to use
