    If you have checked the supported and required specifications for WORKBOX and duly noted all the scenarios and terms, then you are now ready to start using WORKBOX. The first thing to do now is to request subscription for the WORKBOX service.
    You can request subscription to WORKBOX and manage your subscription in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    When the subscription request is complete, you should check if you can normally access the WORKBOX web from a PC's web browser. WORKBOX is supported on web, PC, and mobile app for your convenience. Users can download and install the PC and mobile apps to easily and flexibly manage content and collaborate in real time, wherever and whenever.
    The following summarizes what you can learn from the start guide.

    Request subscription (request free trial)

    The following describes how to request subscription to WORKBOX from the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    Caution

    When you request subscription to WORKBOX, you are automatically subscribed to a free trial version and able to use it for 30 days free of charge. You can switch to a paid plan at any time during the 30 days of the trial period. Please refer to Switch to a paid plan to change into a paid plan.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    2. Click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu in order.

    3. Click the My Products menu.

    4. Click the [Request Free Trial] button.

    5. When the subscription request page appears, proceed with the following steps in order.

    Note

    If you click the [Apply for use] button in Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX of the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, you can go directly to the screen in 4.

    1. Select service

    1. Select Trial service from Select service.
    2. Select the location you want from Select file storage location, and then click the [Enter company information] button.
    • Korea: default value that can be selected when applying for service in other regions except Japan and Singapore
    • Singapore: additional optional values when applying for service in the Singapore region
    • Japan: value set by default when applying for service in the Japanese region

    2. Enter company information

    1. Enter the company information to use the service, and then click the [Complete request] button.
    • Company ID: enter the ID to be used as the access URL, a combination of 3 to 63 English lowercase letters and numbers, and then click Check for duplicates
    • Default Language: select the default language for WORKBOX web screen among Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional)

    3. Enter admin information

    1. Enter the information of the admin to manage WORKBOX, and click the [Complete request] button.
    • Admin ID: enter email address to use when logging in to WORKBOX (for receiving the email to set password)
    • Admin name: name of the person in charge who manages WORKBOX
    • Mobile phone number: contact number of the person in charge who manages WORKBOX

    4. Complete subscription request and set login password

    1. When the request completion window appears, click the [OK] button.
    2. When the My Products page appears, check the required information.
    • Switch to a paid plan button: click to switch to a paid plan
    • [Product in use] button: click to cancel subscription
    • Go to WORKBOX button: click to go to WORKBOX access URL for your company
    • Learn more about the product button: click to go to the service introduction page in the portal
    • Refresh button: update the current page with the latest information
    • Request subscription information: check information of your subscription request
      • Service: name of the service you subscribed
      • File storage location: the location of the file storage the subscription was requested for
      • Pricing plan: name and period of the pricing plan you subscribed to
      • Service: the number of users using the service
      • Shared capacity: total capacity that can be shared by all company members
      • Individual capacity: total capacity that can be used by each individual
    1. Please check the authentication email sent to the email address registered.

    2. From the email, click the [Set password] button to set the password of the account to be used for WORKBOX login.

    3. When the password setting window appears, set the password and click the OK button.

    • New password: enter a combination of English letters and numbers between 8 and 20 characters. 3 or more consecutive or repeated letters or numbers can't be used
    • Confirm new password: enter the identical value as the new password

    Switch to a paid plan

    You can switch the free trial version to a paid version and keep using the service. You can use the service with more flexibility and expandability when you switch to a paid plan. Switching to a paid plan can be done at any time during the 30 days for which the trial version is valid.

    Caution

    If you don't switch to a paid plan after the 30 days have passed, then the service is automatically canceled.

    The following describes how to switch to a paid plan.

    1. In NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu.
    2. Click the My Products menu.
    3. Click the Switch to a paid plan button.
    4. When the switching plan window appears, select the time of switch you want and click the Switch to a paid plan button.
    • Switch instantly: switch to a paid plan right now
    • Schedule switch: switch to a paid plan on the selected day

    Purchase and terminate additional storage

    The following describes how to purchase or terminate additional storage other than the storage capacity provided by default.

    Note
    • Please refer to WORKBOX user environment for the usage limits for trial and paid users.
    • The purchase and termination of additional capacity can also be done on the WORKBOX website.
    1. In NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu.
    2. Click the My Products menu.
    3. Purchase additional storage or terminate the storage bought at the Manage field.
    • When purchasing additional storage: click the [Purchase] button and enter the storage to purchase in units of 10 GB
    • When returning additional storage: click the [Return] button and enter the storage to terminate in units of 10 GB
    1. Click the [OK] button.

    Cancel subscription

    You can immediately cancel or schedule cancellation of the WORKBOX subscription from the NAVER Cloud Platform console. You can cancel the subscription at any time, but please take note of the billing standard when canceling. The following describes how to cancel subscription.

    1. In NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu.
    2. Click the My Products menu.
    3. Click the [Product in use] button, and then click Cancel subscription.

    Termination of use immediately

    The following describes how to cancel your subscription.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu in order.
    3. Click the [Cancel subscription] button.
    4. Please select a cancellation date as today.
    5. After entering the Confirm Cancellation statement into the text box of the pop-up window, click the [Cancel subscription] button.
      • The subscription for the selected product is canceled, and all data is deleted.

    Cancel the reserved use

    The following describes how to cancel the subscription cancellation.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu in order.
    3. Click the [Cancel subscription] button.
    4. Please select a cancellation date.
      • With the automatic extension of the monthly contract, you can cancel it by specifying the desired day within the month of use.
    5. After entering the Confirm Cancellation statement into the text box of the pop-up window, click the [Cancel subscription] button.
      • The use of the selected product will be canceled according to the cancellation date.
    Caution
    • When you want to continue using WORKBOX after termination of use, all data will be kept for 7 days to recover usage data upon request, and will be permanently deleted immediately after 7 days.
    • When making a reservation for cancellation, payment will not be made after the cancellation date, and cancellation is possible at any time before the scheduled cancellation date.

    Check PC web access

    The following describes how to check for normal access via PC web after requesting subscription to WORKBOX is completed from the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    1. Enter the WORKBOX access URL for your company on a web browser to access.
    • If you are an administrator: Click the [Go to WORKBOX] button in the My Products menu of the Services > Business Applications > WORKBOX menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform console to check the company-specific WORKBOX URL.
    • If you are a user: view the WORKBOX URL for your company in the sign-up invitation email sent by the admin
    1. Select the default language to use on web.
    2. Enter the account's email address and password, and then click the [Login] button.

    Note
    • If you do not access the company-specific WORKBOX URL, you can log in after verifying the ID of the company you belong to.
    • If you have forgotten your company ID, click the [Find Company ID] button. Enter your account information to see a list of companies you belong to.
    • Please refer to Home for the description of WORKBOX web.
    • To safely log out for security, click the user name at the top right of the screen, and then click Logout.
    • If the account is set as suspended by an admin, then the notification message appears when trying to log in that the account is suspended and can't access WORKBOX. If you need access, then please contact the admin.
