    Article Summary

    You can check and change the account status of WORKPLACE in the Manage Account menu. Also, you can change the account password or force-end the logged-in the account.

    The Manage Account home page is laid out as follows.

  • Account locked: status where the maximum number of incorrect password entries has been exceeded
  • Change StatusSuspend or remove suspension of the user account (See Suspend Account)
    Change PasswordChange the account password (See Change your account password)
    Force TerminateForce quit of account login session (See Force Terminate Account)
    Note
    • If you set the part-timer usage status to Use in the Settings > Manage Part-timer Usage menu, the part-timer department is displayed in the organization chart. If you set the business account usage status to Use in the Settings > Manage Business Account Usage menu, the business department is displayed in the organization chart.
    • In case that the account is locked due to incorrect password entry, the admin should resend an invitation email or the user should reset the password to unlock the account.
    • If you're not using appointment, Delete Account item is displayed. Click workplace_delete to delete accounts except for the WORKPLACE admin. See Delete Account.
      • You can delete accounts in the HR Card page of the employee. (See Delete Employee)

    Suspend Account

    The following describes how to suspend the account temporarily.

    1. In the WORKPLACE PC web page, click the [Service Menu] > [Member] button.
    2. Click the Manage Account menu.
    3. Click the [Suspend] button of the account to be suspended.
    4. Enter the reason for suspending, and then click the [OK] button.
      • The status of use is changed to Suspend.
      • You can check the date of suspension, the manager and the reason by clicking workplace_question_mark.

    Remove Account Suspension

    To use the suspended account again, click the [Use] button.

    Change Account Password

    The following describes how to change your account password.

    1. In the WORKPLACE PC web page, click the [Service Menu] > [Member] button.
    2. Click the Manage Account menu.
    3. Click the [Change] button for the account whose password you want to change.
    4. Select how to set initial password, and then click [OK] button.
      • Set by User: Enter the email address to receive the invitation mail and an instruction mail will be sent to that address. The employee can reset their password directly from the link in the instruction mail.
      • Set by Admin: The admin sets the password. The admin shall pass the initial password they set to the employee, and the employee must change the password when they log in to WORKPLACE.
    Note

    If an employee doesn't receive the WORKPLACE user's guide mail, then please check the employee's employment status. If the employment status is Prospective Employee, then the WORKPLACE user's guide mail will be sent on the scheduled employment date.

    Force Terminate Login Session

    To forcibly end the account's login session, click the [Logout] button of the account you want to force end.

    • You will be logged out from all WORKPLACE services logged-in with the account.
    Note

    It may take up to 5 minutes to logout the account and after the logout, the user can log in again.

    Delete Account

    If you set the usage status of Appointment to Not Use in the Settings > Manage Appointment Usage menu, the Delete Account item is displayed and you can process retirement by deleting the employee's account. When using an appointment item, to treat an employee as retired, see Appoint Reinstatement/Retirement.

    To delete an account, click workplace_delete of the account to delete.

    • The deleted employees will be processed as retired.
    Caution
    • You can't restore the deleted account, nor cancel the deletion.
    • When used in combination with NAVER WORKS, the NAVER WORKS service of the deleted account will not be kept, immediately deleted.
    • When deleting the account, you won't be able to use WORKPLACE immediately after deletion, and won't be charged for that day.
    • To delete the representative WORKPLACE admin account, delegate the representative authority to another account having the admin authority of WORKPLACE before deleting the account. (See Grant Permissions)
