    Article Summary

    You can add, edit, or delete organization chart in the Organization menu. You can also set to reserve reorganization according to the usage status of appointment.

    Manage Organization Chart

    In the Manage Organization Chart menu, you can set up and manage the company's organization chart in a tree shape.

    The Manage Organization Chart page is laid out as follows.

    [Organization Chart by Time]: View the organization chart in the past by date
    • [V] mark is displayed to the department head

  • workplace_reorg: It is displayed when setting the usage status of appointment in the Settings > Manage Appointment Usage menu to Not Use

  • DownloadDownload the current organization chart as an Excel file

  • It displays the currently set-up organization chart
  • If the appointment is not used, then you can edit the organization chart in the relevant area for reorganization. Then, the reorganized organization chart is displayed
  • Organization DetailsDisplay the details of the selected department
    Appoint Department HeadClicking will open the Manage Department Head menu or display Change Department Head pop-up window depending on the setting of appointment status.
    Hide from Organization ChartWhen selected, it will not be searched, nor will it be displayed in employee information card and the organization chart
    Note
    • In the My Board > Management and all other Management menus, you can search all departments regardless of the hidden status of departments.
    • When combined with NAVER WORKS Basic, the Department Email Address item is displayed, and the department Email address is automatically created by the department code of each department when creating an organization. By clicking workplace_edit, you can edit the department Email address to a meaningful one such as department name, and also use it to receive external mail by clicking Allow External Email to select.

    Reorganize

    Note
    • You can only view the [Reorganize] button and can reorganize the organization by any date you want when the usage status of appointment in the Settings > Manage Appointment Usage menu to Use. Enter today's date in Reorganization Date to reflect it immediately.
    • If the usage status of appointment is set to Not Use, then the reorganized details are immediately reflected in the organization chart.

    The following describes how to reorganize the organization.

    1. In the WORKPLACE PC web page, click the [Service Menu] > [Member] button.
    2. Click the Organization > Manage Organization Chart menu.
    3. If the [Reorganize] button is displayed, click [Reorganize] button to set theReorganization Date, and then click the [Next] button.
    4. Apply the reorganized content, and then click the [Save] button.
      • To add an organization, select the upper organization of the organization to be added, and then click workplace_add. A new organization is added under the selected organization.
      • To delete the organization, select the organization to be deleted, and then click workplace_delete.
        • If you want to delete an organization with members or lower departments, then you must enter the department to be moved.
      • To change the organization order, change the order through drag-and-drop to change to the desired order. You can also select an organization to change the order, and then click workplace_change_order_1 or workplace_change_order_2.
      • To appoint a department head, click [Appoint Department Head] button. For more details, see Appoint Department Head.
        • The department head is set as the head of the higher level department in the approval line.
    Note
    • You can edit the reserved reorganization by clicking [Edit] button before the reorganization date or cancel by clicking [Cancel] button. The reorganization date can't be changed.
      • The [Cancel] button is only displayed when there is reserved reorganization.
      • If there is an appointment that will be affected by the cancellation, then you can cancel the reorganization after cancelling the appointment.
      • If the usage status of appointment is set to Not Use, then you can't cancel it.
    • If the usage status of appointment in Set > Manage Appointment Usage menu to Use, then the [Appoint Department Head] button is not displayed in the Reorganize pop-up window. [Appoint Department Head] is displayed in the Organization Details area.
      • Clicking the [Appoint Department Head] button will display the Change Department head pop-up window. (See Appoint Department Head)

    Hide Department

    You can hide a department so that users can't search it.

    The following describes how to hide a department.

    1. In the WORKPLACE PC web page, click the [Service Menu] > [Member] button.
    2. Click the Organization > Manage Organization Chart menu.
    3. Select a department to be hidden in the Preview area.
    4. Click workplace_off of Hide from Organization Chart.
      • It is changed to workplace_on, and the department becomes hidden from the organization chart.
    Note
    • To hide a department with lower departments, first hide the lower departments.
    • Changes when hiding departments
      • Search Member pop-up window
        • When searching for the applicable department, it doesn't show up as an autocomplete item or in the search results.
        • The department is not displayed in the organization chart.
      • Expense Plan Request/Expense Settlement Request
        • When searching for the attendee (insider) with a department name, it doesn't show up as an autocomplete item.
      • Corporate Card Use History
        • When searching for a settlement delegate with a department name, it doesn't show up as an autocomplete item.
      • When using NAVER WORKS and WORKPLACE as a combined bundle, Hide Department is also synced in NAVER WORKS, which takes up to 10 minutes.
