# Security Monitoring の用語

Classic/VPC環境で利用できます。

Security Monitoringを使用するために、必ず知っておくべきいくつかの用語があります。用語とその説明は、以下のとおりです。

### Anti-DDoS

Anti-Distributed Denial of Serviceの略語で、DDoS攻撃を検知・遮断してユーザーのサービスが安定的に運用できるようにサポートする DDoS攻撃防御サービス

### DDoS

Distributed Denial of Serviceの略語で、ユーザーのサービスが提供できないようにリソースを枯渇させる攻撃

### V1

Classic環境を指す略語

### V2

VPC環境を指す略語

### セキュリティイベント

Security Monitoring検知と対処を行った結果の単位。一般的にはイベントと同じ意味で使われる

### Anti-Virus

ユーザーが運用中のサーバに対し悪性コードをリアルタイムに検知し、隔離・削除することでサービスが安定的に運用できるようにサポートするサーバワクチンサービス

### WAF (Web Application Firewall)

ウェブ基盤(HTTP/HTTPS)トラフィックをモニタリングして攻撃トラフィックを検知・遮断するウェブファイアウォールサービス

### イベント

Security Monitoring検知と対処を行った結果の単位。一般的にはセキュリティイベントと同じ意味で使用する

### IPS (Intrusion Prevention System)

ユーザーのサービスを対象に試みられる悪意ある攻撃(侵入)を検知して遮断するサービス

### IDS (Intrusion Detection System)

外部に公開されているユーザーのサービスを対象に試みられる悪意ある攻撃(侵入)を検知する侵入検知サービス
