NAVER API HUB is a platform that provides NAVER Open APIs, and NAVER is the provider of the APIs. Accordingly, when developing or providing products or services using NAVER Open APIs, you must properly use NAVER's trademark and brand identity (BI). This guide describes how to use NAVER's trademark and display the BI.

This guide provides instructions on how to properly use the trademark of NAVER Co., Ltd. In the text below, "the Company" refers to NAVER Co., Ltd., the trademark owner, and "you" or "your company" refers to the customer using NAVER Open APIs.
NAVER Co., Ltd. has properly used trademarks representing its products and services, securing its rights by registering them under the Trademark Act. Inappropriate use of a trademark may diminish or dilute its value. Therefore, the Company aims to preserve the value of its trademarks and brand by ensuring proper usage in accordance with the following trademark user guide.
1. Basic guide
The significance of NAVER's trademark and the basic guidelines for proper usage are as follows:
Significance of trademark
A trademark refers to a word, name, symbol, design, phrase, color, or any other identifier selected and used to represent a company's products and services and distinguish them from those of other companies.
Guidelines for proper trademark usage
The following are general guidelines for properly using the Company's trademarks:
- Display the appropriate trademark in the proper position and use the correct rights attribution phrase.
- Mark the Company's trademarks with the ™ superscript to indicate their trademark status. Do not use any of the Company's trademarks as your own trademark, service mark, trade dress, internet domain name, product name, or logo. When citing and using the Company's trademark, you must explicitly state that it is a registered trademark of NAVER®. Example: "NAVER™ is a registered trademark of NAVER®."
- Do not modify, abbreviate, or combine the Company's trademarks with other trademarks.
Guidelines for proper usage of NAVER Co., Ltd. trademarks by third parties
You must not imitate, copy, or fabricate the Company's trademarks or designs, or use any similar trademarks or designs that may cause confusion. Furthermore, you must not use the trademarks for the following activities that could damage the distinctiveness or reputation of the Company's trademarks:
- Using the Company's trademarks as common nouns
- Displaying the Company's trademarks on products or services that provide adult content
- Displaying the Company's trademarks on gambling-related products or services
- Displaying the Company's trademarks on products or services that defame, infringe, slander, or damage the reputation of the Company or others
- Displaying the Company's trademarks on products or services that violate other relevant laws
You must not display the trademarks in a misleading manner that implies any managerial, organizational, financial, or contractual relationship between the Company and you.
2. Open API exceptions
When providing your products or services using NAVER Open APIs through NAVER API HUB, you may use the Company's trademarks without prior approval, provided you comply with all provisions of the trademark user guide (basic guide and Open API exceptions).
How to use trademarks
The Company's trademarks must not be used in product names, service names, company names, logos, symbols, or icons. They may only be used in subtitles or descriptive text solely to explain the characteristics of your product or service.

You can display a logo and link to indicate that an application or service was developed using NAVER Open APIs. Select and apply the logo style that best suits the characteristics of your service.
How to use
- Download the logo you want to use, then upload and link it to the desired path.
- Ensure that the link opened when clicking the logo directs to the NAVER API HUB portal.
- Apply the link as follows:

How to use
Logos are categorized into official and technical notations, and technical notations are available in horizontal and vertical layouts. When applying it as text rather than an image, the D2 Coding font is recommended, though system or default fonts may also be used.
