Create My Style

Available in VPC

After creating a My Style in the Style Editor, you can move to the editor interface for map styling features. You can create My Style from the Map Style Editor home interface.

Creating My Style

To create My Style:

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Maps.
  2. After clicking on the Application Services menu, click Go to [Style Editor].
  3. In the Create Map section on the Style Editor home interface, click the [+Create] button for the theme between Light and Dark you wish to create.
  4. In the Create App window, enter the Style name and Style description.
    • Style name: You can enter up to 40 characters.
    • Style description: You can enter up to 200 characters.
  5. Click [Create].
  6. The created My Style will be registered in the My Style list.
    • My Style list: You can register up to 10 items.
Note

If you exceed the creation limit and are unable to create any more My Styles, delete an existing My Style and try again.

Edit My Style

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Maps.
  2. After clicking on the Application Services menu, click Go to [Style Editor].
  3. In the My Style section on the Style Editor home interface, click the app_maps_hambarger_button1 button for the My Style you wish to edit.
  4. Click the [Edit name] menu.
  5. In the Edit style information window, edit the necessary information and then click [Edit].

Replicating My Style

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Maps.
  2. After clicking on the Application Services menu, click Go to [Style Editor].
  3. In the My Style section on the Style Editor home interface, click the app_maps_hambarger_button1 button for the My Style you wish to edit.
  4. Click the Replicate menu.
  5. In the Replicate style window, edit and verify the information, then click [Replicate].
  6. The replicated style name - copy will be registered in the list.
Note

The styling data edited on the editor interface is saved on a per My Style basis, and when replicating, the data saved at the time of replication is copied. However, images uploaded via the icon editor are saved on an account basis and can be retrieved in all My Styles created under the same account.

Deleting My Style

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Maps.
  2. After clicking on the Application Services menu, click Go to [Style Editor].
  3. In the My Style section on the Style Editor home interface, click the app_maps_hambarger_button1 button for the My Style you wish to edit.
  4. Click the Delete menu.
  5. In the Delete style window, verify the style name and click [Delete].
  6. Deletion will be completed.
Caution

Deleting a My Style will permanently remove the styling data created in that style.
