ARC eye provides the ARC eye Scan application for Visual Localization and Visual Object Tracking. Installation and login describes how to take a video of an object on the ARC eye Scan app to create VOT objects and upload the video on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Supported environments

The environments that the ARC eye Scan app supports is as follows:

Installation

To install the ARC eye Scan app:

  1. Touch and open the APP Store app.
  2. Enter ARC eye Scan in the search window and click the magnifying glass icon.
  3. Once the ARC eye Scan app appears in search results, touch and proceed with installation.
Note

To install the ARC eye Scan app successfully, you must register NAVER LABS Corporation as a trusted admin. Register trusted managers in the Settings app. Because the registration orders are different in the Settings app by iOS version, see the user guide provided by Apple.

Login

This section describes various ways to log in to the ARC eye Scan app.

Note
  • If you don't have a NAVER Cloud Platform account, click [Subscribe] on the bottom left of the login screen.
  • If you have lost the account information, click [Find ID] or [Find password] .

Login with NAVER Cloud Platform account

To log in with the NAVER Cloud Platform account:

  1. Touch and open the ARC eye Scan app.
  2. Click [NAVER Cloud Platform login] .
  3. Enter the information required for login.
    • Languages: Languages to use in the app
    • [Main account] button: /Sub account: Type of account to log in
    • ID: account ID of the NAVER Cloud Platform console
    • Password: Account password of the NAVER Cloud Platform console
  4. Click [Log in] .
  5. Touch and select the Region (Korea/Japan) in which you are using the device.
    • After selecting the Region, click [Next] at the bottom of the page.
  6. Tap and select the scan mode you want to use (Visual Object Tracking or Visual Localization), then click the [Start] at the bottom of the page.
    • When selecting [Visual Object Tracking]: See the VOT guide.
    • When selecting [Visual Localization]: See the VL guide.

Login with NAVER account

You can log in with your NAVER account information easily and comfortably without logging in with the account information that you entered when signing up for NAVER Cloud Platform. You have to connect your NAVER account first to log in to NAVER Cloud Platform with your NAVER account information. Proceed with NAVER account integration from the SNS integration field of the My Account > Manage account and security menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform.
To log in with your NAVER account that is connected:

  1. Touch and open the ARC eye Scan app.
  2. Click [NAVER Cloud Platform login] .
  3. Click [Simple login with NAVER] .
  4. Log in with the NAVER account.

Login with SSO

You can log in by integrating with NAVER Cloud Platform's Ncloud Single Sign-On service. For more information on how to integrate with Ncloud Single Sign-On, see the Ncloud Single Sign-On user guide.
To log in with SSO, follow these steps:

  1. Touch and open the ARC eye Scan app.
  2. Click [NAVER Cloud Platform login] .
  3. Click [Login with SSO] .
  4. Log in with SSO.
