Once you have checked the support environment and requirements for Archive Storage and understand the entire scenarios and glossary, you are ready to start using Archive Storage. The first thing to do now is to request subscription for Archive Storage. Request subscription to Archive Storage and manage your subscription in NAVER Cloud Platform's console.

Archive Storage Subscribe

The following is how to request for the Archive Storage service on the NAVER Cloud Platform console:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region and Platform at the top right of the console interface.
  3. Select your Region and platform and click [Apply].
  4. Click i_menu at the top left of the console interface.
  5. Click Services > Storage > Archive Storage, in order.
  6. Click the [Subscribe] button.
  7. When the Subscribe popup window appears, click the [Apply] button.

Archive Storage Unsubscribe

If you no longer want to use Archive Storage, you can unsubscribe from Archive Storage. Before you unsubscribe Archive Storage, you must delete all containers (buckets) created in Archive Storage.

The following is how to unsubscribe the Archive Storage service on the NAVER Cloud Platform console:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region and Platform at the top right of the console interface.
  3. Select your Region and platform and click [Apply].
  4. Click i_menu at the top left of the console interface.
  5. Click Services > Storage > Archive Storage, in order.
  6. Click the Subscription menu.
  7. Click Product in > Unsubscribe product, in order.
  8. When popup window appears, click [Yes].

Create and Verify API authentication key

To use the Archive Storage API, you must first create an API authentication key in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal. For more information on API authentication keys, see API Guide.

Check API usage information

The following is how to view your Domain ID and Project ID to use the Archive Storage API:

  1. From NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Storage > Archive Storage, in order.
  2. Click [Check API usage information].
  3. When popup window appears, check your Domain ID and Project ID.
