Service specifications
Auto Scaling supports the following specifications:
Server types
The supported server types, depending on the base hypervisor, are as follows:
KVM-based server types
Available servers
- All servers except those specified as unavailable in the following list
Unavailable servers
- Servers with a total disk space of 2 TB or higher
- Micro servers
- GPU servers
- Bare metal servers
XEN-based server types
Available servers
- All servers except those specified as unavailable in the following list
Unavailable servers
- Servers with a total disk space of 150 GB or higher
- Micro servers
- GPU servers
- Bare metal servers
Use limits
The following are the service use limits:
- Maximum number of Launch Configurations per account: 100
- Maximum number of Auto Scaling Groups per account: 100
- Maximum number of policies per Auto Scaling Group: 10
- Maximum number of schedules per Auto Scaling Group: 100
- Maximum number of servers per Auto Scaling Group: 30
- Maximum number of Load Balancers per Auto Scaling Group: 10
By default, up to 50 servers can be created per account. To adjust the limit to the number of servers, you can submit an inquiry at Contact uson the portal.
Usage fees
Auto Scaling is a free service that is available upon subscription without any separate fee. However, a server fee is charged for using the servers created using the service.
