Familiarize yourself with a few key terms to before using B2B PRISM Live Studio. The glossary and its description are as follows:

Media

NAVER Cloud Platform's service category that enables fast and easy transformation and delivery of high-quality media content at low cost

PRISM Live Studio

Live streaming application which can be used by integrating with customer service when using NAVER Cloud Platform's B2B PRISM Live Studio. Apps available for desktop (Windows/macOS) and mobile (Android/iOS) environments

Video Player Enhancement

NAVER Cloud Platform's video player service with high performance and SaaS-based customization

Live Station

NAVER Cloud Platform's service that enables cost-efficient implementation of essential live streaming features with powerful encoding performance

Service

Basic unit that customers register for the first time after subscribing to Media > B2B PRISM Live Studio service on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. Each service includes one or more channels

Channel

A unit created by the streamer within the B2B PRISM Live Studio service for live streaming. Channels are created directly by the streamer through the PRISM Live Studio PC/mobile app. Each streamer must have at least one channel. For services that do not support channels, user information is used in place of channel information. You can view channel data via the service API in B2B PRISM Live Studio

Live

A unit used for broadcasting within the service. One channel can contain multiple live streams

LIP

LIP stands for LIVE Infra Platform and refers to NAVER's cloud-based live streaming platform

DTO

DTO stands for Data Transfer Object and is commonly used to refer to an object used for mapping and transferring data

Stream key

A stream key is required to register a live broadcast to a video streaming platform. It can be obtained from the channel information of each platform. In the case of NAVER Cloud Platform's Live Station service, which supports live streaming, the stream key is provided under the Generated channel information > Stream information - Main

Outro message

A screen message displayed for 3 seconds after the broadcast ends. If an outro message is not set, the service name you entered is shown instead
