It can be used in a Classic/VPC environment.
Cloud Connect is a point of contact for connecting NAVER Cloud Platform's IaaS resources and external network section (e.g., customer's on-premise network) with a dedicated line provided by a communication company. Using a dedicated line allows you to use communication that keeps a steady speed and is secure from external threats.
In a Classic environment, you should create a classic private subnet and fill out a request form. A NAVER Cloud Platform representative will assist with the rest.
In a VPC environment, you can create a virtual private gateway and connect it to the Cloud Connect, and then set up routing for the subnet that needs communication yourself.
A variety of features Cloud Connect offers
A variety of features Cloud Connect offers is as follows.
- Various line speed: The bandwidth provided ranges from 50 Mbps to 10 Gbps.
The Cloud Connect port bandwidth must be the same or larger than the dedicated line bandwidth.
Even if the dedicated line connected is 50 Mbps or less, the Cloud Connect port supports 50 Mbps at minimum.
- High availability configuration: Cloud Connect provides built-in high availability, and supports redundancy for the dedicated connection line.
