NAVER Cloud Platform Cloud Connect overview

• NAVER Cloud Platform Cloud Connect(hereafter Cloud Connect) is a cloud service including leased lines, which provides connections between your on-premises and NAVER Cloud Platform. Leased lines provide reliable and fast connection. It would be the best solution for customers who want to expand their cloud data centers because you get guaranteed better speed and security with leased lines.

  • Minimum rate of 56K and maximum rate of 10Gbps

Use Cloud Connect to connect your resources

Step 1. Request service

① Go to Support-FAQ > Contact Us, click [Do you want to a call from the Sales team?], and then select "Cloud Connect in Type of Inquiry.
In addition, you can jump into the page by clicking [Online Inquiry] in the portal’s home page.

② Please provide the following information for faster handling of your support request.

• Your NAVER Cloud Platform account ID
• Desired port speed
• Number of connections
• How to create a contract for leased lines (e.g., contacting a leased line service provider yourself or using an agency)

③ When the service request is submitted, we will contact you.

④ Decide whether to use a service after reading our pricing guide and the cost estimate. If you decided to use a service, go to Step 2.

Step 2. Prepare leased lines

We cooperate with the Cloud Connect partner of NAVER Cloud Platform to connect a router to Cloud Connect locations over the data center, offices, and colocation environments. You can select your service provider for leased lines yourself or use NAVER Cloud Platform or the Cloud Connect partner.

① The Cloud Connect partner will contact you after the provisioning of the requested port is done.

② Check the preparation schedule.

• It usually takes 3-4 weeks to prepare leased lines from your request.

Step 3. Connect NAVER Cloud Platform to your infrastructure

① After preparation is completed, connect NAVER Cloud Platform to your infrastructure through router configuration.

② You can configure your router yourself by referring to the router configuration guide provided by NAVER Cloud Platform, or you can ask the Cloud Connect partner to do it.

③ Completion of router configuration indicates the completion of the connection between NAVER Cloud Platform and your infrastructure.
