    Cloud Connect refers to the point of contact where a dedicated external line comes into NAVER Cloud Platform. To continue this connection to a user's VPC, a virtual private gateway (VGW) and virtual private gateway group (VGWG) need to be created. For further information about VGW and VGWG, please refer to the Virtual Private Gateway guide.

    Caution

    The On-premise Network used in stack with 100.64.0.0/10 cannot be connected with IPsec VPN or Cloud Connect.

    Create Cloud Connect

    The following describes how to create Cloud Connect.

    Notes

    You must check the budget and schedule of opening the exclusive circuit with the salesman of NAVER Cloud Platform before creating a Cloud Connect.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Networking > Cloud Connect menu one by one in the order.
    3. Click the Cloud Connect (New) menu.
    4. Click the [Create Cloud Connect] button.
    5. When the Cloud Connect creation page appears, proceed with the following steps in order.

    1. Enter Cloud Connect creation information

    Enter the creation information of Cloud Connect and click the [Next] button.

    • Cloud Connect name: Designate a Cloud Connect name to distinguish the connection.
    • Virtual Private Gateway Group : Select the existing VGWG. If you have another IPsec VPN connection or an exclusive circuit connection, the communication may not work as the On-premise NW address bandwidth overlaps.
    • Port bandwidth: Select the bandwidth of the Cloud Connect port. The following bandwidths are available for choice, and the fee varies depending on the bandwidth.
      (50 / 100 / 200 / 300 /400 / 500 Mbps, 1 / 2 / 5 / 10 Gbps)

    2. Enter the exclusive circuit / routing information

    Enter information for the dedicated line you want to connect to Cloud Connect. The subscription application request is done based on the information you entered. We separately contact you regarding the exclusive circuit fee that each communication company offers. It may take up to 4 weeks for the line to become available.

    Cloud Connect Management Partner (CCMP) CCMP is the professional exclusive circuit partner that helps provide Ncloud's Cloud Connect service. NAVER Cloud and CCMP offers a high quality One-stop service for circuit opening / changing / troubleshooting.

    • Location : Select the zone for NAVER Cloud Platform to connect with On-premise. You can choose from Pyeongchon, Gasan, Daejeon, and Busan.
    • Duplex Circuit Status: Select whether you duplex the exclusive circuit.
    • Preferred ISP: Select your preferable ISP. If you wish to have duplex business configuration, please designate different business each.
      If you select price bidding, you are opening with the cheapest company among all the budgets each CCMP proposed.
      If you cannot find your preferable ISP, select Others and enter the name of the communication service.
    • Exclusive bandwidth: Enter the required bandwidth in Mbps. It must be the same or smaller than the port bandwidth of the Cloud Connect.
    • Route type: Select a Route type. The options available are Static and BGP. If you select BGP, enter the Autonomous System Number (ASN) for On-premise and BGP Password.
    • Customer-bound Serial IP :
    • NCP-bound Serial IP :

    3. Enter the contract Information

    Enter the following contract information required for opening a dedicated line.

    • Contract period: Select the contract period required for the exclusive circuit contract. The options available are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years.
    • Opening date: Enter the desirable opening date. It usually takes at least 4 weeks to open a dedicated line.
    • Person in charge: Please designate a person in charge to contact about regarding opening the exclusive circuit.
    • Contact : Enter the contact of the person in charge.
    • On-premise Address: Enter the detailed address of the place you wish to install the exclusive circuit.

    4. Final confirmation

    Check if the set information for opening is correct and click the [Create] button.

    If you agree to the privacy collection Policy for the name and contact of the person in charge in the "3. Enter the contract Information" stage, check the I read and agree to the Cloud Connect Privacy Collection Policy and click the [OK] button.

    Edit Cloud Connect

    The following describes how to edit the configuration for Cloud Connect.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Networking > Cloud Connect menu in the order.
    3. Click the Cloud Connect (New) menu.

    Delete Cloud Connect

    The following describes how to delete Cloud Connect.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Networking > Cloud Connect menu in the order.
    3. Click the Cloud Connect (New) menu.
    4. Click the Cloud Connect to delete and click the [Delete Cloud Connect] button.
    Notes

    If your contract period is not over for the exclusive circuit, you cannot delete it.
