This section describes how to manage subscriptions for Cloud Data Box and how to return data box.
Subscribe to Cloud Data Box
To use Cloud Data Box, you must agree to its terms of service and complete the subscription. Agreement to terms of service and subscription are required only once upon initial setup.
To subscribe to Cloud Data Box, follow these steps:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- In the top-right corner, click Region & Platform.
- Select your region and platform, then click [Apply].
- In the top-left corner, click Menu.
- Navigate to All Services > Big Data & Analytics > Cloud Data Box.
- Click [Request Data Box].
- Read the terms of service, check the agreement box, and click [OK].
Unsubscribe to Cloud Data Box
Your subscription is terminated when you return all Cloud Data Boxes in use. For more information on how to return Cloud Data Box, see "Returning Cloud Data Box."
Return Cloud Data Box
You can return Cloud Data Box when you no longer use it.
To return Cloud Data Box:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- In the top-right corner, click Region & Platform.
- Select your region and platform, then click [Apply].
- In the top-left corner, click Menu.
- Access NAVER Cloud Platform's console and navigate to All Services > Big Data & Analytics > Cloud Data Box.
- Select the checkbox of the data box you want to return.
- Click [Return Data Box].
- When the data box return prompt appears, enter the name of the data box and click [OK].
Note
- If you have an unexpired Insight Pro or Insight Option contract, a penalty will incur upon cancellation.
- The NAS for file export requests will be retained for 7 days and can be reused when you create a new data box.
