    Available in Classic and VPC

You can use Cloud Data Box to analyze the extensive search results, shopping data, and AI data provided by NAVER, and then use the analysis results for your business. The scenario for using Cloud Data Box to analyze data and generate analysis results is as follows.

    1. Create databox
In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, create a databox by selecting the data type and infrastructure service to use.
For more details about how to create a databox, refer to Creating Cloud Data Box.

    2. Databox connection settings
To perform data analysis, you must access Connect Server via SSL VPN. Also, the settings for the analysis tools Cloud Hadoop and TensorFlow must be completed.
For more details about how to set the server for the databox connection, refer to Databox connection settings.

    3. Search sample data and install additional modules
Connect to the infrastructure service created to view the sample data and install the additional modules required for data analysis. After requesting data supply, external network communication is blocked. Make sure to request additional data and install modules to the databox before requesting data supply.
For more details about how to connect to infrastructure services, refer to Searching sample data.

    4. Request data supply
Request data supply in order to receive the data to analyze. Once data supply request is completed, the NAS with the data requested is mounted on Cloud Hadoop and Ncloud TensorFlow Server as read-only to be provided. The external communication is blocked after the data supply request.
For more details about how to request data supply, refer to Data supply.

    5. File import request
If you need to import files after external communications are blocked, then you must request a file import, and import the necessary files through the NAS requested when generating the databox.
For more details about how to request file import, refer to File import/export.

    6. Data analysis
Connect to the databox infrastructure service and perform analysis using the data provided. For more details about how to analyze data, refer to the guide for each analysis service.

    7. Subscribe to Insight Option
Insight Option is a feature that provides the recent data from January of 2 years ago to the month before the subscription request date. The contract period is 12 months. Request subscription to Insight Option if you require the latest data when analyzing data using Cloud Data Box.
For more details about how to request subscription to Insight Option, refer to Data supply.

    8. Subscribe to Insight Pro Option
You can request subscription to Insight Pro Option after subscribing to Insight Option, and get additional search and shopping data by user group provided.

    9. Request export of analysis results
After analysis is completed, analysis results can be exported by requesting file export. Only the analysis results can be exported, and not the original data. The files requested to be exported are provided in user's Object Storage bucket.
For more details about how to export files, refer to File import/export.

    10. Terminate databox
If a databox is no longer needed, then it should be terminated. If you've subscribed to Insight Option, then a cancellation fee will be charged if your contract period hasn't ended.
For more details about how to terminate a databox, Getting started with Cloud Data Box.
