Available in Classic and VPC

Once you've reviewed the CLOVA OCR supported features, service glossary, and quickstart, you're ready to start using the service. Your first step is subscribing to CLOVA OCR. You can manage subscribing to the CLOVA OCR in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Once you subscribe to the service, you can optionally create a bucket in Object Storage on the NAVER Cloud Platform in advance to use the Batch feature.

Subscribe to the service

To subscribe to CLOVA OCR, agree to the service terms and conditions in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. The service terms and conditions cover how data generated by CLOVA OCR is stored and used, personal data processing and delegation, as well as the responsibilities of both the company and customers. Review these terms carefully before planning or building any service that uses CLOVA OCR.
To subscribe to CLOVA OCR in the NAVER Cloud Platform console:

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Region & Platform in the upper-right corner of the console interface.
3. Select the region and platform you are using, and click [Apply].
4. Click in the upper-left corner of the console interface.
5. Navigate to Services > AI Services > CLOVA OCR.
6. Click the Subscription menu.
7. Click [Subscribe].
8. When the Subscribe to the service popup appears, read the CLOVA OCR terms of service And agree.
9. Click [Subscribe to product].

Unsubscribe from the service

You can unsubscribe CLOVA OCR subscription in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal. You may unsubscribe from the service at any time. Once your unsubscribe, you can no longer use CLOVA OCR. To cancel your subscription:

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Region & Platform in the upper-right corner of the console interface.
3. Select the region and platform you are using, and click [Apply].
4. Click in the upper-left corner of the console interface.
5. Navigate to Services > AI Services > CLOVA OCR.
6. Click the Subscription menu.
7. Click [Product in use], and then click Unsubscribe from the service.
8. When Unsubscribe from the service popup appears, click [Unsubscribe from the service].

Storage Creation

To use the Batch feature of CLOVA OCR, you need storage. Storage can be created using Object Storage from NAVER Cloud Platform. For more information on how to create a bucket with Object Storage, see Object Storage user guide.
