    Information on support agent

    Cloud Security Watcher offers an API method and an agent method to collect server resource information. If using the agent method, additional installation is required. The server specifications on which the agent can be installed and run are as follows:

    Cloud Security Watcher supports cloud account connection using API authentication keys provided by the cloud for multi-cloud resource configuration management. The supported clouds are:

    To use Cloud Security Watcher, you must issue and connect the Access Key ID and Secret Key for the sub account created in Sub Account.

    • Sub account: You can create a new API authentication key at Management & Governance > Sub Account > Sub Accounts > Sub Account Name in NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    Precautions for using

    When using Cloud Security Watcher, please note the following:

    • You can use Cloud Security Watcher only in the NAVER Cloud Platform VPC environment.
    • Since the agent plays the role of reading the main information of the system and delivering it to the manager, it must be installed with the super admin account due to system requirements.
    • If the supported server specifications are not met, the agent will not run.
    • Information collection periods through APIs and agents are at least 5 minutes long, which can cause delays in displaying data.

    Usage fee

    Cloud Security Watcher is a pay-as-you-go service that charges monthly by differentially calculating the average number of servers used per month and the usage fee for each usage section. For detailed description of Cloud Security Watcher's usage fees, see the Service > Security > Cloud Security Watcher menu or the Portal > Pricing menu.
