You might run into the following problems when using Datafence. Find out causes and possible solutions.

Datafence menu not visible

I can’t find the Datafence menu.

Cause

Datafence is available only to pre‑approved accounts.

Solution

If you want to use Datafence, please contact [Customer Support]{target="_blank"}. We will review your request and grant access as appropriate.

External data export

How is external data export controlled?

Cause

Datafence blocks external communications to enable secure collaborative analytics. Export of public data is only possible through the in‑product export request feature, which requires review by a Datafence administrator.

Solution

As described above, you can export data only through the export request feature with administrator review and approval. You can request up to 10 files at a time, and each file must be no larger than 2 GB.

Create additional Datafence environments

I want to create more than one Datafence.

Cause

For stable operations, each account can create only one Datafence.

Solution

As noted above, you can create only one Datafence per account. If you need more, we recommend using the Organization service:

  1. Create a new NAVER Cloud Platform account.
  2. Create Datafence in the additional account.
  3. Link it to your master account using the Organization service.
