The Dashboard menu allows you to visually check and monitor the data processing history and resource usage status of topics.

Dashboard screen

The Dashboard screen is laid out as follows:

Area Description
① Menu name Name of the menu currently being viewed
② Basic features Basic features provided in the Dashboard menu
  • [Learn more about the product]: move to the Data Stream service introduction page
  • [Auto refresh]: Set whether the screen automatically refreshes
③ Resource status Check the total number of topics, partitions, and consumer groups currently in operation
④ Search filter Set search period
⑤ Chart Displays the topic operation status according to the inquiry period in a graph
  • Messages in total: Number of messages per topic (Unit: Count)
  • Log size: Data size by topic (Unit: Byte)
  • Bytes in total: Data storage (inbound traffic) by topic (Unit: Byte)
  • Bytes out total: Data consumption (outbound traffic) by topic (Unit: Byte)

View dashboard

To check the dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Big Data & Analytics > Data Stream in order.
  2. Click the Dashboard menu.
  3. When the screen appears, check the number of topics, partitions, and consumer groups in the resource status area.
    • Since it is closely related to billing, ensure that it is the same as what the user is aware of.
  4. Set the search period in the search filter.
    • Last hour, last day, last 7 days, last month
    • Click user-defined:i-arc-brain_calendarto set
  5. Check the chart results for the search period.
    • You can check the exact indicated value of a specific point by hovering your mouse cursor over that point on the graph chart.
    • Click on the topic name in the chart category to display only the indicated values ​​of a specific topic.
Note

In the search filter area, click i-datastream_prex, i-datastream_next to move forward or backward 1 hour from the currently selected period to quickly check the chart results for that period.
