This section describes the interface layout of the DB Cluster menu and the information view interface. To access the DB Cluster menu, navigate to Console > Services > Database > Cloud DB Serverless on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

DB Clusters interface

On the DB Cluster interface, you can view the list of created DB clusters and the details of DB instances.

Component Description
① Menu name Shows the current menu name.
② Basic features Features provided when first accessing the DB Cluster menu
  • [Create DB Cluster] button: Click the button to create a new DB Cluster
  • [Learn more about the product] button: Click this button for Cloud DB Serverless details
  • [Refresh] button: Click this button to refresh the screen.
  • dbsl_common_button1.png button: Click this button to display the service introduction area.
③ Post-creation features Menus for restarting, stopping, starting, deleting, monitoring, and managing the DB of an operating cluster
④ DB Cluster list Check the list of clusters in operation and instance information.
Note

For ③ post-creation features, the available menus differ depending on the type of Instance Role.

DB Cluster list check

The list of DB clusters in operation shows the information of each cluster. To check the list of DB clusters:

You can see the list if you have one or more clusters in operation. If you do not have any clusters created, no list appears on the DB Cluster interface.

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Database > Cloud DB Serverless.
  2. Click the DB Cluster menu.
  3. If the list of created DB Clusters appears, check the summary information or click the dbsl_common_button1 button to check the details.

② Details Display DB Cluster details
  • Cluster name: Groups of DB clusters divided by roles Typically, a single DB cluster consists of a Primary and multiple Replicas, and the multiple instance groups that hold the same data are collectively referred to as one cluster.
  • Multi Zone: Whether multizone is enabled (Y or N).
  • Write Endpoint: The connection address for establishing a DB Write Connection
  • Read Endpoint: The connection address for establishing a DB Read Connection
  • DB access port: Port number: To access a Cluster
  • Accessible VPC: The name of the VPC that can connect to the DB cluster
  • Created date: Date when the DB cluster was created and the initial point when the DB cluster status entered the creating status.
  • Running date: Date when the DB cluster operation started and the initial point when the DB cluster status entered the "running" status.
  • Status: DB cluster status (Starting, Configuring, Running, Deleting, Stopping, Restarting)
  • DB engine version: DBMS version information installed on the DB cluster
  • Unit setting: The minimum and maximum Unit values for each instance entered when creating a DB cluster
  • Auto Scaling settings: Usage is indicated as Y or N (if Y, it refers to the scaling policy settings entered when creating the DB cluster).
  • Replica increase setting: Replica expansion threshold value set when creating a DB cluster
  • Backup retention period (backup time): The retention period of backup files and the backup execution cycle
  • ACG: The name and ID of the ACG in use by the DB cluster (dbsl_common_dbstatus_button: Navigate to the ACG Services interface in the NAVER Cloud Platform console)

Instance information check

The list of DB clusters in operation shows the information of each instance. To view:

  1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Database > Cloud DB Serverless.
  2. Click the DB Cluster menu.
  3. If the list of created DB Clusters appears, click the dbsl_common_button1 button to check the details at Instance Role > Primary.
Component Description
① Go to the Menu. Go to the dbsl_common_monitoring_button: Monitoring menu.
② Go to the Menu. dbsl_common_dbstatus_button: Go to the menu of DB Instance details.
③ Details Display Instance details.
  • Instance name: The automatically assigned name when creating a DB cluster
  • Instance Role: Automatically generated as Primary and Replica depending on the role
  • Zone: displays the zone configured when creating a Subnet.
  • Created date: date when the DB instance was created and the initial point when the DB instance status entered the creating status.
  • Running date: date when the DB instance operation started and the initial point when the DB instance status entered the "running" status.
  • Status: DB instance status (Starting, Configuring, Running, Deleting, Stopping, Restarting)
  • Unit: The allocated Unit value is determined based on the Unit value entered in the DB instance specifications when creating a DB cluster.
  • Data storage type: Currently, only CB2 is available.
  • Data storage capacity: Default 10 GB provided (charged in 10 GB units, automatically expandable up to 16,000 GB)
