Once you have checked Preparation for the use of Cloud DB Serverless and fully understood the scenarios and glossary, you are ready to begin using the Cloud DB Serverless service. The first thing to do now is subscribe to Cloud DB Serverless Service.
This section explains how to create a DB cluster in the NAVER Cloud Platform console to use the Cloud DB Serverless service.
Start using the service
The Cloud DB Serverless service does not require a separate application process, and once you create one or more DB clusters, the service is considered immediately activated. To create DB clusters in Cloud DB Serverless:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Region and Platform at the top right of the console interface.
- Select your Region and VPC platform and click [Apply].
- Click
at the top left of the console interface. - Navigate to Services > Database > Cloud DB Serverless .
- In the DB Cluster menu, click [Create DB Cluster].
- When the Create interface appears, navigate to the following steps.
- Enter Cluster settings: Check the DBMS, configure DB instance specifications, set the Auto Scaling policy, and enter the DB cluster name.
- Enter DB settings: Enter the basic DB information, check the DB Config settings, and configure the backup settings.
- Connection settings: VPC and Subnet settings
- Final confirmation: Final confirmation on entered information
- Click the [Create] button to start using the service.

The Cloud DB Serverless service is charged on a pay‑as‑you‑go basis, with fees applied according to the usage of DB instances, data storage, and backup storage. For detailed information about the service charges, see the following:
Unsubscribe from the service
Like the service activation, the Cloud DB Serverless service does not require a separate process for termination.
If you delete all the created DB clusters, your Cluster DB Serverless subscription is now canceled.
When you delete a DB cluster, all data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
