The following describes Global Edge page layout and how to view the list of deployed edges.
To access the Global Edge menu, access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal and click [Console] > i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global Edge in order.

Management page

The Management page for creating and managing Global Edge is laid out as follows:

Area Description
① Menu name Name of the menu currently being viewed
② Basic features Features displayed when entering the Management menu for the first time
  • [Create profile] button: click to create a new profile (see Create profile)
  • [Learn more about the product] button: click to go to the Global Edge introduction page
  • [Refresh] button: click to refresh the page
③ Profile Created profile list. Select a profile to view by clicking the drop-down list.
④ Profile/edge settings Profile or edge settings area
  • In the default state with no edge selected, click i-globaledge_set to rename or delete the profile
  • With an edge selected, click i-globaledge_set to rename the edge, or click the settings items that appear at the bottom to edit them
⑤ Post-creation features
  • [Create edge] button: create a new edge (see Create Global Edge)
  • [Replicate edge] button: replicate the selected edge (see Replicate edge)
  • [Pause edge] button: pause the selected edge. When a stopped edge is selected, it is displayed as [Restart edge] button (see Pause/restart edge)
  • [Delete edge] button: delete the selected edge (see Delete edge)
  • [Purge] button: perform a purge task and view the history for the selected edge (see Purge edge)
⑥ Edge list Created edge list. Click the [View settings] button to view the detailed configuration history of the edge

View edge list

You can view information for each edge that was created. To check the information, follow these steps:

You can view the list if you have 1 or more created profiles and edges. If you don't have any profile or edge that has been created, the list is not displayed on the Management page.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global Edge.
  2. When the edge list appears, view the summary or click an edge to view the details.
    • Edge ID: unique ID of the created edge
    • Name: the name of the edge that was created
    • Edge domain: service domain where the client calls content from
    • Source domain: the backend endpoint that Global Edge calls to request content
    • Status: the current operational status of the edge
    • Creation date and time: the date and time when the edge was created and first deployed
    • Date last configuration changed: the most recent date and time when the edge was modified and redeployed
    • [View settings] button: click to view the detailed configuration of the last deployed edge
