You might run into the following problems when using Global Edge. Find out causes and possible solutions.

Troubleshoot detailed cache rules addition issues

I want to add Rule builder > Detailed cache rules in the service in operation, but it is disabled.

Cause

The settings of Detailed cache rules are enabled only when Korea or Japan is selected as the service area. If the service area is global, you cannot add detailed cache rules.

Solution

The service area can be set only in creation, and you cannot change the service area during the service. To add detailed cache rules, create a new edge and select Korea or Japan for the service area.

Troubleshoot service area change unavailable issues

I cannot change the service area from Korea to global.

Cause

You cannot change the service area of Global Edge.

Solution

If you need to change the service area, create a new edge.
