Available in Classic and VPC
You might run into the following problems when using Live Station. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Channel creation error
The channel is not created, and the connected API is not being called.
Cause
- When creating a channel with a new CDN, if the number of available CDNs is exceeded, the channel may not be created.
- When creating a channel with an existing CDN, if the CDN is not integrated with Live Station, the channel may not be created.
Solution
- If you're using an existing CDN, or if you need to create a new one, make sure you can create a sufficient number of CDNs. For more information, see Global Edge quota.
- Create a new CDN integrated with Live Station.
Channel return error
The channel cannot be returned.
Cause
A channel can only be returned when it is in a "Stopped" state.
Solution
Make sure that all the channels you want to return are in the "Stopped" state.
Global Edge CDN is not displayed in the available CDN list
CDNs created in the Global Edge service do not appear in the list of available CDNs when creating a channel in the Live Station service.
Cause
Due to Global Edge policies, CDNs created separately in the Global Edge menu cannot be used.
Only Global Edge CDNs created using the Create New feature in the Live Station service are displayed in the available CDNs.
Solution
To create a CDN using the Create New feature in the Live Station service, follow these steps:
- On the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click
> Services > Media > Live Station in order. - In the Channel Management menu, click the [Create channel] button.
- In the CDN settings section, select Create new.
- In Global Edge, select a profile, then select the service region and service domain.
- If there is no Edge profile, you need to create one in the Global Edge console.
- Create the Live Station channel.
- Once the channel is created, a Global Edge CDN connected to Live Station is automatically generated.
- CDNs created through the Create New feature in the Live Station service appear in the list of available CDNs for future channel creation.
