    In settings, you can view how to set basic information, player integration, manager account, etc, and how to view the guide for the right use.

    Basic settings

    You can view or change basic information set in the Media Analytics service. The following describes how to set a access basic settings:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.

    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.

    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.

    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.

    6. Click Settings > Basic settings.

    7. You should check or change the set information.

      ItemDescription
      Company IDWhen logging into Media Analytics management page, you can use a unique ID to subscribe the Media Analytics service.
      IDYou can change the Main account ID and manager account of the Media Analytics service in NAVER Cloud Platform console.
      Language settingsChange the display language of the Media Analytic management page.
      Time ZoneChange the time zone of the displayed data.
      Pricing plan informationPlan type and service start date.

    Integrate a player

    Once you create a new player while using Media Analytics service, the new player should be integrated manually. Integrate a player as follows:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.
    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.
    6. Click Settings > Player Integration.
    7. Click the [Start Integration] button for the player to integrate.
    8. When the confirmation prompt appears, click [OK].
    Note

    You can view the change history in the player’s integration by clicking View Details under the modification log.

    Stop integrating a player

    You can stop integrating the Media Analytics service to cease collecting the data for a player.

    Note

    Even though you stop integrating a player, previously collected data for the player remain in the Media Analytics service and the data collection stops from that moment.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.
    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.
    6. Click Settings > Player Integration.
    7. Click the [Integrating] button for the player to complete integration.
    8. When the confirmation prompt appears, click [OK].

    Manager settings

    You can set the account to access the Media Analytics management page. The account subscribing the service in the console becomes the main manager and can add/edit/delete sub managers in the Manager Settings menu.

    The followings are permissions for each manager type:

    TypePermission
    MAIN Manager
    • The main manager applying for Media Analytics service
    • Owns all permissions in the Media Analytics service
    • You can change accounts and passwords in Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement > Media Analytics on the NAVER Cloud Platform console (see Password reset)
    SUB Manager
    • The manager account created by MAIN Manager
    • Doesn’t have the permission for the manager to create/edit/delete

    The following describes how to access Manager settings:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.
    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.
    6. Click Settings > Manager settings.

    Add manager

    The following describes how to add other accounts as submanagers:

    1. Click the [Create a manager] button on the manager settings page.
    2. Enter ID, password, and name in the prompt.
      • Enter ID in email format
      • Enter the password at least 8 characters using a combination of upper and lower case English letters, numbers, and special letters (?!$^&*)
      • Enter the name less than 20 characters excluding special characters and space
    3. Click the [Save] button.

    Edit manager information

    You can reset the password of submanager account or change the name.

    Note

    The main manager account can only reset the password in NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    The following shows how to edit Admin information:

    1. Click ID of the account to edit on the manager settings page.
    2. Edit the information in the prompt to edit manager information..
      • To reset the password, click the [Reset] button and enter a new password.
      • To change the name, enter the new name in the input field.
    3. Enter the [Edit completed] button.

    Delete a manager

    The following shows how to delete a submanager account:

    1. Click ID of the account to edit on the manager settings page.
    2. Click the [Delete a manager] button in the prompt to edit manager information..
    3. Click the [Delete] button in the prompt.

    Guide

    The following shows how to view the guide for the Media Analytics service:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.
    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.
    6. Click Settings > Guide.
    7. Click the guide you want to see for details.
