Set VOD Station

Available in Classic and VPC

VOD Station from Media Connect Center service preferences allows you to set encoding presets or remove VOD Station linkage settings.

Set encoding preset

You can use the settings values of encoding presets provided by VOD Station by default to create a new preset or delete one. Please note that Media Connect Center's encoding preset settings page and guide (usage instruction) correspond to VOD Station as below.

Create encoding preset

The following describes how to use the settings values of encoding presets provided by default to create a new preset.

1. Click the Service preferences > Set VOD Station menus at the left side of the screen, in that order.
2. Click the Set encoding preset tab menu.
3. Select the encoding preset to copy, and then click the [Create by copying] button.
   
4. Enter any necessary information.

5. Click the [Save] button.

Delete encoding preset

Users can delete encoding presets they created. The following describes how to delete an encoding preset.

1. Click the Service preferences > Set VOD Station menus at the left side of the screen, in that order.
2. Click the Set encoding preset tab menu.
3. Select the encoding preset to delete, and then click the [Delete] button.
   
4. When the Notification pop-up window appears, click the [Confirm] button.

Unlink VOD Station

You can unlink the VOD Station linkage. Even if VOD Station linkage is unlinked, the media files and settings values can be viewed in the NAVER Cloud Platform console's VOD Station and Object Storage. To set up linkage to VOD Station again, refer to Link VOD Station in Encoding category.
The following describes how to unlink VOD Station.

1. Click the Service preferences > Set VOD Station menus at the left side of the screen, in that order.
2. Click the Unlink VOD Station tab menu.
3. Check the linkage information, and then click the [Unlink VOD Station] button.
4. When the Notification pop-up window appears, click the [Confirm] button.
