Cloud specifications

Neurocloud supports the following cloud environment specifications:

Equipment type

Depending on whether you have a data center or computer room, the equipment types are as follows:

No computer room Rack + data center Consists of a container-type data center packed with the technological expertise of NAVER data center plus Neurocloud hardware.

Hardware specifications

The following are the hardware specifications of Neurocloud:

  • Minimum specifications: 10 physical servers (1 cluster group) + SSD Block Storage 150 TB + SSD NAS 120 TB + dedicated line

    • Contract period: 3 or 5 years

Physical network configuration

The following are the physical network configuration specifications between the top‑tier switch of Neurocloud (boarder leaf) and the on-premise network switch (customer device):

Physical Connectivity (Layer 1)
  • GBIC: 10G Base-SR.
  • Cable and connector type: Multimode cable, LC connector.
  • Bandwidth: 10 Gbps × 1 (Max 40 Gbps/Device)
  • Uplink speed: 10 Gbps
  • Boarder leaf: Provided on NAVER Cloud Platform.
  • Customer device: Prepared by the customer (L3 SW redundancy required).
  • Cable: Provided by the customer (redundancy required).
Link Aggregation (Layer 2)
  • Port-channel: LACP enabled (required).
  • VLAN trunk: VLAN range 2001-2999 within the trunk (default VLAN 2001).

Consultation is required if you need to add VLANs other than 2001.
Network Layer Connectivity (Layer 3)
  • The customer allocates /30-range private IP addresses to each VLAN.
  • Assign the smaller IP address in the allocated range to the customer device.

Routing Protocol (Layer 3) Use static routes.
  • Apply a floating static route for the backup route (administrative distance: 10).
  • Neurocloud side: Default route (0.0.0.0/0 -> Customer device IP).
  • Customer side: Configure a static route for the VPC range defined within Neurocloud (Example: 10.0.0.0/24 -> Neurocloud device IP).
Static Route Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD) is recommended.
