      Configuring physical network

The following are the specifications of physical network configuration between the topmost switch of Neurocloud (boarder leaf) and the on-premise network switch (customer device).

      Network layerSpecificationsRemark
      Physical Connectivity (Layer 1)
      • GBIC: 10G Base-SR
      • Cable and connector type: multimode cable, LC connector
      • Bandwidth: 10 Gbps * 1 (up to 4 Gbps/device), Max 40 Gbps/device
      • Uplink speed: 10 Gbps
      • Uplink numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8
      • Boarder leaf: Provided on NAVER Cloud Platform
      • Customer device: Prepared by the client
      • Cable: Prepared by the client
      Link Aggregation (Layer 2)
      • Port-Channel: LACP enabled (required)

      neurocloud-spec_link_aggregation
Notification to be made if additional VLAN is necessary
      Network Layer Connectivity (Layer 3)
      • The client allocates hidden IP addresses of /30 range to each VLAN.
      • Among the allocated bands, smaller IP addresses are allocated to the customer device.
      -
Routing Protocol (Layer 3)Use of static route
      • Floating static route for detour route is applied (administrative distance: 10)
      • The basic route of Neurocloud network is set as the customer IP address.
      • In the on-premise network, static route is set for the VPC band created in Neurocloud.
Static Route Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD) is recommended.
      Note

Since the Neurocloud services are configured through consultations upon service request, detailed specifications may differ by clients.
