You must become familiar with a few terms to use Security Monitoring. The glossary and its description are as follows.
Anti-DDoS
This is an abbreviation for Anti-Distributed Denial of Service. It is a DDoS attack defense service that helps realize stable operation of the user's service by detecting and blocking DDoS attacks.
DDoS
This is an abbreviation for Distributed Denial of Service. Refers to attacks that deplete resources to prevent the user's service from being operated normally.

An abbreviation that refers to the Classic environment
V2
An abbreviation that refers to the VPC environment
Security event
A unit for the result of performing detections and actions in Security Monitoring. Generally used as a synonym of event.
Anti-virus
An anti-virus service that supports the stable operation of the service by detecting, isolating, and deleting malware on servers operated by the user in real time
WAF (Web Application Firewall)
A web firewall service that detects and blocks attacking traffic by monitoring web-based (HTTP/HTTPS) traffic
Event
A unit for the result of performing detections and actions in Security Monitoring. Generally used as a synonym of security event.
IPS (Intrusion Prevention System)
A service that detects and blocks malicious attacks (intrusions) attempted against the user's service.
IDS (Intrusion Detection System)
An intrusion detection service that detects malicious attacks (intrusions) attempted against the user's service open to the outside
