Notification Setting

In Notification Setting, configure recipients and notification methods for security events detected or blocked by Security Monitoring services.

Notification Setting interface

The Notification Setting interface includes the following components:

View notification recipients and methods

You can view the recipients and notification methods for security events for each security service. To view the information:

1. In the Classic environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Security > Security Monitoring.
2. Click the Notification Setting menu.
3. Click the tab for the security service whose notification recipients and methods you want to view.
4. View the notification recipients and methods.
   • Notification recipient: The recipient of security event notifications.
   • Notification method: The method used to notify recipients of security events.
   • Mobile phone number: The mobile phone number of the recipient when the notification method is SMS.
   • Email: The email address of the recipient when the notification method is Email.

Set notification recipients and methods

You can configure recipients to receive security event notifications by email or SMS. Select notification recipients from the registered administrators. To register administrators, see Manage notification recipients.
If no notification recipients are configured, IDS, Anti-Virus, and Anti-DDoS send security event notifications to your NAVER Cloud Platform account ID (email address). WAF and IPS do not send notifications.
To configure notification recipients and methods:

1. In the Classic environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Security > Security Monitoring.
2. Click the Notification Setting menu.
3. Click the tab for the security service whose notification recipients and methods you want to configure.
4. Configure the notification recipients and methods.
   • Add: Select Notification recipient management group, Notification recipient, and Notification method in order, then click [Add].
     
   • Delete: Click [Delete] in the row of the recipient you want to delete.

Manage notification recipients

You can add, edit, or delete administrators who can be designated as notification recipients. You can also create groups to manage administrators efficiently. Manage notification recipients in Monitoring on NAVER Cloud Platform. This guide explains how to access Monitoring to manage notification recipients. For detailed management instructions, see the Monitoring user guide.
To manage notification recipients:

1. In the Classic environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Security > Security Monitoring.
2. Click the Notification Setting menu.
3. Click [Manage notification recipient].
4. When the Notification Recipient page opens in Cloud Insight, follow the Monitoring user guide to manage recipients.

Set weekly and monthly report recipients

You can configure recipients for the weekly and monthly reports provided by Security Monitoring.
Weekly and monthly reports are sent to the recipients configured in REPORT. To add or remove report recipients, configure the notification recipients in REPORT.

To configure the settings:

1. In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Security > Security Monitoring.
2. Click the Notification Setting menu.
3. Click the REPORT tab.
4. Configure the recipients for weekly and monthly reports.
   • Add: Select Notification recipient management group, Notification recipient, and Notification method in order, then click [Add].
   • Delete: Click [Delete] in the row of the recipient you want to delete.
