Public IP describes the screen configuration of the Public IP menu and public IP information, and explains how to request for and manage the public IP.
To use the server for service purposes or to access the server created, a public IP is required. From the Public IP menu, you can request public IPs, assign public IPs servers or remove them, and terminate public IPs you're not using.
The requested public IP will occur fees even when not assigned to a server. Terminate it when not used.
- Public IPs can be created in proportion to the number of created servers.
- You can only connect a public IP to servers in a subnet where the Internet gateway is set.
- If public IP and port forwarding are used simultaneously, as Ports 22 (Linux) and 3389 (Windows) are primarily assigned to port forwarding, these ports can't be used by public IPs. In order to use Port 22 or 3389 in public IP, delete the port forwarding settings from the server.
