The following describes how to create and manage a group. A group refers to a group of SSO Users, and it can be useful when you assign permissions to multiple SSO Users.
Groups page
The following describes the Groups page.
Field | Description |

View group details
The following describes how to view group details.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- When the group list appears, click the group name to check details.
- Group name: the group name entered by the user
- Creation date: date and time the group was created
- Edit date:the date and time when group information was last edited
- Group ID: unique information that distinguishes a group. Assigned automatically
- NRN: the resource information of the group. Assigned automatically
- Group description: description of the group entered by the user.
- Check the tab at the bottom of the details.
- [Users] tab: the list of SSO Users in the group
- [Assignments] tab: the list of assignments to which a group is assigned
Create groups
The following describes how to create a group.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- Click the [Create groups] button.
- Enter the name and description for the group.
- Enter 2 - 30 characters for the group name.
- Group description should not exceed 300 characters.
- Click the [Create] button.
Edit group information
Group description is the only group information that can be edited.
The following describes how to edit group description.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- Click the checkbox of the group whose group description you want to edit, and click the [Edit] button.
- Edit the group description, and click the [Edit] button.
Add SSO User to group and delete it
The following describes how to add and delete SSO Users on an already created group.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- Click the group name.
- To add an SSO User, click the [Add] button on the [User] tab.
- To deleted an SSO User, select the user to delete on the [User] tab, and click the [Delete] button.
- Once the User List pop-up window appears, select an SSO User, and click the [Save] button.
Cancel connected Assignments
The following describes how to cancel Assignments connected to the group.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- Click the group name.
- Click the checkbox of the Assignment name to delete on the [Assignments] tab, and click the [Delete] button.
Delete groups
The following describes how to delete a created group.
Caution
Once you delete a group, you cannot restore it. So decide carefully.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Management & Governance > Ncloud Single Sign-On menus, in that order.
- Click External IdP login > Groups menus in that order.
- Click the checkbox of the group you want to delete.
- Click the [Delete] button.
- Once the Delete pop-up window appears, click the [Delete] button.
